Meet AORUS X7, gaming laptop that is mere 22.9 mm thick and packs Nvidia GTX 765M SLI GPU. It is launched at the CES 2014 tech event.
It is very ultrabook-ish, but quite heavy to be called an ultrabook. However, at 2.9 kilograms, it is certainly the lightest gaming notebook out there.
AORUS X7 manages heat by making use of its full aluminum housing and its strong internal fans.
The laptop scored a 3Dmark 11 score of 7393. It can be equipped with up to 1 TB hard disk or up to 2 TB of mSATA SSD. There are four RAM slots and the machine supports up to 32 GB of DDR3L SDRAM.
Since AORUS X7 is a gaming laptop, you get backlight keyboard, programmable macro keys and even windows key disable function. It also has 2x built in subwoofers.
AORUS X7 specs include 500GB ~ 1TB HDD, GeForce GTX 765M × 2, Intel Core i7-4700HQ (2.4GHz) processor, 8GB memory, Intel HM87 Express chipset, Windows 7 Home Premium / Professional or Windows 8.1/8.1 Pro operating system.
Coming to the interface, you get 2x HDMI output, USB 3.0 × 3, USB 2.0 ×, mini D-Sub 15 pin, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0, 1.3 megapixel Web camera, Mini Display Port, SD card reader, audio input and output. Battery capacity is 73.26 Wh. It measures 392 × 263 × 22.9mm (height width × depth).
