What are the options available for acquiring the system?
You can purchase, lease, or lease-to-purchase any of ApotheTech’s suite of pharmacy fulfillment solutions.
Does ApotheTech fully support multi-facility entities?
The system supports multi-facility entities, including a multi-facility formulary, inventory, patient locations, patient numbering, reporting, etc. through a WAN interfacing with the systems ADT to the Central Data Base and Server.
Can you describe ApotheTech's integrated Pharmacy System?
ApotheTech’s Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy System provides all the clinical and distribution functions expected in today’s enterprise environment, including:
- Monitoring clinical interventions, ADR and drug and medical costs for case-costing.
- Helping the enterprise manage and process in-patient, out-patient, employee, 24-hour observation, rehabilitation, and home healthcare medication regimes.
- Providing reports, labels, electronic MARs and IV Flow Sheets the enterprise needs.
- Managing inventory in a multi faceted manner through the options of ward stock and/or cart exchange by decrementing or incrementing inventory based upon usage. The system has dynamic inventory management based upon forecasted usage and days of supply. Original levels are set based upon pre-determined min./max. levels. The ApotheTech Pharmacy System also includes: a third-party, customer- configurable formulary, Ingredient-based drug-drug interaction checking, Ingredient- based drug-allergy interaction checking, Ingredient-based drug-food interaction checking, Ingredient-based drug-disease checking, Dose range/dose appropriateness checking, Duplicate order/duplicate therapy checking, Integrated alerts, such as for abnormal lab/drug values, Adverse drug event tracking/reporting, Multilingual patient education monographs in easy-to- understand formats, Current physician drug information monographs, Flexible & robust administrative reporting including trending, Narcotic/controlled substance inventory control; bar-coding, and complete compounding/manufacturing functionality, including ingredient inventory management, compound labeling, and non-patient labeling.
Does the ApotheTech System interface to billing?
Our System has been developed to provide transaction information to the healthcare facility’s financial information system through an interface or to bill directly. The system provides coordination of benefits to multiple payers. (This might require interfaces to be written for either process.)
Does ApotheTech support remote access?
Our System has e-mail for communication between users. Prescriptions can be sent via web, email, fax or network to external or internal recipients.
Can your software be interfaced to our existing software?
Yes, ApotheTech has a library of over 3,000 interfaces to healthcare information systems. All of ApotheTech’s solutions can be integrated to this expansive library and the Company’s pledge towards Open Systems Standards ensures that the facility’s privacy is ensured and data is protected.
