Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a re-hash of the Note 7 that got bad press for having inflammable battery. Samsung is currently selling it only in South Korea for 610 dollars. It makes use of the Note 7 parts since the company did not want to waste them plus, it wanted to recoup the losses it underwent by taking all the Galaxy Note 7 inventories back.
There are some changes compared to the Note 7 and it includes smaller 3200 mAh battery which is about 300 mAh smaller. Samsung claims that is makes use of 8-point battery test for being on the safe side. On the performance side, there is no difference since it will be powered by the same Exynos 8890 processor that powered by the Note 7.
On the design side, Note Fan Edition looks and feels just like the Note 7. It does carry as Galaxy Note FE branding on its back’s bottom that makes it clear that is nothing but a rehashed Note 7.
User interface has been updated and it looks like Samsung Galaxy S8 now. Bixby which is Samsung’s answer to Microsoft Cortana and Apple’s Siri is here as well. However, it does not have the hardware button that is found on the S8.
