The most important question that would arise in the mind of a potential Palm Pre buyer would be the support and availability of third party applications. On Palm Pre’s launch event yesterday, Palm made it clear that it was ready to support the the third party developers in making applications for the new Palm Pre. Handycase already has nearly 100 applications in the works for the new platform.
Infact the CEO of Handycase says,
This plan was already being developed, almost a year. With the launch of the new Palm platform, just announced the anticipated launch of the future.
They will be releasing applications covering all fields: corporate, medical, personal, professional, educational and entertainment. I am sure, we would be hearing more and more companies joining the webOS bandwagon pretty soon.
