Galaxy Note 4 Launch Date and Event details

Samsung is planning to do launch event for the Galaxy Note 4 on September 3 in Berlin just ahead of IFA event.

This was confirmed by our friends at Korea Times who also spilled its specifications.

* 5.7 inch display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels
* Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or Samsung Exynos 5433
* 3 GB RAM
* 16 megapixel shooter

From the size it is surely going be a big device but then we have already had monstrous devices last year, Lumia 1520 for instance.


Samsung has already sent invitations to the bloggers and have asked them to book appointment for it.

Samsung launches 3G netbook N310 in Korea

Samsung launches its stylish, premium, international design award-winner netbook- the N310 in Korea. It features a curved-design finish without LCD display frame. Its specifications are:

  • 10.1 inch LCD screen
  • Intel Atom processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160GB HDD
  • Wifi, HSDPA and WiBRO
  • 1.3 MP webcam
  • 3 USB ports
  • 3-in-1 memory card reader
  • Battery life of 5 hours

The Samsung N310 weighs about 1.23kg and is available in Turkey blue and Red orange colors in Korea at a suggested price between 900,000 (KRW) and 1,000,000 (KRW) or $620 to $690.

Iriver D50N MID teaser site now online

iriver D50N handheld/mid/e-dictionary/(whatever you may want to call it) is soon going to land in Korea. It comes with a respectable 800×480 resolution 4.8-inch display and 16GB internal memory. For connectivity, it comes with built in WiFi and for expansion, a microSD slot. Battery life is also pretty good with 16 hours of music playback or 8 hours of video.

The price of the D50N is going to be around $370 although its release date for US is not yet known.

UMID M1 launches in Korea (plus typing demo video)

UMID M1 has finally been launched in Korea. This tiny 4.8-inch little monster runs on Intel Atom processor and promises a whoping 6 hours battery life, which should be enough for a full day use. However, due to its small size, do not even think about writing a novel on this small device. According to slashgear, the keyboard is surprisingly nice for thumb-typing.

The base model starts at $465 and goes upto $532 for high end model.

Asus releases EEE S101H in Korea [Netbook]

The S101H has been released in Korea. Do not confuse it with the S101, which was  released by ASUS a couple of months back. That featured a small 16GB SSD (32GB for linux version). The new S101H features a much spacious 160GB HDD. It is available in same classic brown color. It comes with built-in 3.5G too.

LG releases SU200 aka Incite Windows Mobile phone in Korea [Windows Mobile]

LG has released SU200 in Korea today. The SU200 is Windows Mobile 6.1 powered phone, which is targeted to be a cheap phone. It was released in US last year as LG Incite. It will be made available in the second half of 2009 via LG and KTF

Samsung P3 now launched in Korea

We already had the Samsung YP-P3 on our radar of being launched anytime. Compared to the old P2, it is now improved with a haptic touchscreen and a new silver color metal body!
