Android 4.0 for LG Lucid now available

Verizon is said to be sending Android 4.0 ICS update to the LG Lucid owners. Support documents for the Lucid are now available on Verizon’s website that tells the user about the new features its phone users can experience when the new Android update lands on the phone. You will find the new customizable lock screen; launch bar on the home screen and better notifications.

MetroPCS selling Samsung Galaxy S III

MetroPCS has made it official that it will soon start selling the Samsung Galaxy S3 starting October 22. This monster smart phone will be available at all MetroPCS retailers and on the company’s website. The best part is that you will not be forced to sign up a contract to get it. Price of the Galaxy S III has been quite reasonable so far. MetroPCS will be selling it for 499 dollars.

Galaxy Note: Stock Jelly Bean ROM (unofficial)

The second generation Note 2 comes preloaded with Android 4.1 while the Note 1 is still stuck at ICS Android 4.0.4. Samsung has promised that it will be given Jelly bean Android 4.1 treatment soon. But if you want a ROM with stock Jelly Bean experience,  you will have to hit XDA and download SuperNexus firmware that is near flawless.
