Folks at Three UK have made it official that they will be offering the new galaxy note N7100 very soon. In fact, they will be the first to offer it among the UK network providers. Considering how nice Three’s S3 plans were with unlimited data, I am looking forward to what they can do for the Note 2. Update – We now have information about its pricing and plans.
Galaxy Note 2 Quadrant, AnTuTu Benchmark
Samsung Galaxy note 2 benchmark tests are in. We were able to run three prime benchmark apps on the new Note 2 at the IFA – believe us, it was very tough for us to install those apps and run the benchmarks. Here are the results for Quadrant, Antutu and Nenamark 2.
Quadrant – It scored 6043. In comparison, the Galaxy S3, another quad core phone by Samsung got 5200.
Antutu – It got 13500 in the AnTuTu benchmark test. Impressive – very. S3 got 10000 in the same test.
Nenamark 2 – In this test, it got 55.8FPS with its powerful Mali 400 GPU.
Galaxy Note 2: Germany Price
Galaxy Note 2 (GT N7100) was unveiled in Germany yesterday and Vodafone Germany has already announced their prices and plans for it. The N7100 is on sale for 640 Euros without contract, but if you are one of those who like to get it on contract can do so by spending just 80 Euros for 2 year plan.

If you have flashed a custom firmware and would like to return to stock for warranty purposes, you will have to flash the official stock firmware. Flashing it is easy. First, download it from the link given at the bottom of this post.
* Extract the firmware
* Open the included Odin
* Turn off your device 
* Put your device into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power)
* Click PDA and select *.tar.md5
* Then finally click start

Galaxy Note 10.1 and 64GB microSD SDXC cards
A recent update for the Galaxy Note 10.1 made them fully compatible with the 64GB micro SD / SDXC cards. However, before you use them, we suggest formatting it before hand. Now, if you own a Mac, formatting is pretty much straight forward. You can use its disk utility to format the card.

Galaxy Note 10.1: Jelly ICS ROM
Samsung released the Note 10.1 tablet with Android 4.0.4 ICS. While it has promised that Jelly Bean Android 4.1 will be released in Q4 2012, you can taste Jelly bean, at least some of its elements by flashing the JellyICS ROM.
Galaxy Note 2 Colors
Rumors are brewing on the web that Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) in two colors. First is the obvious Ceremic White which is identical to the Galaxy Note 1’s color. Second color is metallic blue, which is similar to the one being offered for Galaxy S3.
Galaxy Note 10.1 Singapore Price, Release Date
Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Note 10.1 in Singapore and will be released to the public on August 25, 2012. 
As expected, there will be two versions of it – one with built in 3G+Wi-Fi and another with Wi-Fi only radio. The 3G version with 16GB internal flash storage will retail for 998 Singapore dollars, which makes it considerably more expensive than than the Apple iPad 3.
Both black and white colors have been made available. Price for the Wi-Fi only version is not yet known. Hardware of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is very identical to the Samsung Galaxy S3 but comes with 2GB RAM.
Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000, N8013 Root
Both Galaxy Note N8000 and N8013 share same Clockworkmod recoveries which means same custom CWMs (clockwork mod) recoveries can be flashed on either without any modification. Same can be said about rooting them.
So, install CWM in Galaxy Note 10.1 and download super SU file. You can download that file from here. Put the CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip in the root of your SD card. Now, we will put it in recovery mode. To do that, press volume up and power button. It will reset. Let go of power but keep the volume up button pressed. You will boot in recovery mode. Select “install zip from sdcard” and browse for the CWM-SuperSU-v0.94.zip using volume up and down buttons. Select power to flash the file. Your Galaxy Note 10.1 will boot up rooted.
Galaxy Note N8000 vs N8013 – The only difference between these two tablets is the presence of 3G radio in N8000, which is absent in N8013.
