Samsung Galaxy S25 came preloaded with One UI 7 but Samsung is already rolling out One UI 8 to the beta testers. Supported models are S25 Ultra SM-S938B, S25+ SM-S936B and S25 SM-S931B.

To get One UI 8, follow these steps.
Go to the Samsung Members app and sign up for beta access. If you do not have the app, search for Samsung Members in the Galaxy Store, not play store.
Once enrolling into beta, you will get the option to download and install One UI 8. If you do not get the notification, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
Or, follow these steps.
- Navigate to and click on the Search Components option.
- Locate the relevant activity and launch it by clicking the arrow located on the far right.
- Select Sideload. A confirmation pop-up for the update will appear; click ok.
- The update process will then commence.
Keep in mind that the One UI 8 is in beta so there are bound to be myriad bugs – it is called beta for a reason. Also, it is in early stages of development so do this on a spare Galaxy S25.
