The Asus P565 is an exceptional phone with great specs. It has a nice 5 megapixel camera that takes amazing pictures and has a nice feel to it. While the user interface leaves a lot to be desired, its processing speed makes up for it.

DELL has released Vostro A90 in The UK and Germany

DELL has a released Vostro A90 netbook. Actually it is just a Dell Inspiron Mini 9 dressed up in solid black casing. Previously DELL didn’t unviel its price and date but now A90 is available in the UK. It can now be seen on the Dell’s website.   However, the Vostro A90 is cheaper than Inspiron Mini 9(£269) as it retails at  £235. The Vostro A90 is also available in Germany for €329. Personally, I don’t know when will Vostro A90 roll out in the North America.

So you thought Xperia gave better web experience? No, Touch Pro is better

This is where software triumphs over hardware! wmpoweruser.com, who have both HTC Touch Pro and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 claims that browsing is better on Touch Pro despise the lower amount of pixels. Now, why is this so? According to its author, here are the some observations:

  • Xperia is using older build (2005) of Opera Mobile, while Touch Pro is using different build (1522)
  • Xperia does not reflow text or reflow text incorrectly
  • less data is shown on Xperia despite its high resolution WVGA (800 x 480)
  • more data is shown on Touch Pro even though it has just VGA (640 x 480)
  • SE Xperia X1 does not come with finger friendly keyboard to enter URLs
  • HTC TOUCH Pro comes with finger friendly keyboard and it is easy to enter URLs

UK Retailer Recalls Webbook – Linux Not Popular, Windows still the Choice

Uh uh. Carphone Warehouse customers aren’t quite happy to use with netbook which runs Linux. The reason is that they not comfortable using the OS. The company saw a vast number of customers returning the netbooks due to the Linux OS. As a result, they are installing Window XP which seems to be more comfortable with customers.

According to me, they should have gone with easier version of Linux like Xandros, which is simply the most user friendly and easiest OS I’ve ever come accross. The 10.2 inch CW was released in July.
