TWRP for the Samsung Galaxy M02s is now available. This will allow you to flash custom ROMs and third party firmwares on to it that are otherwise not allowed by Samsung, officially.
The TWRP is brought to you by Orange Fox. Here are the steps on how to flash the Samsung M02s TWRP custom recovery.
First, download the M02s TWRP from here. Unlock your bootloader of your Samsung Galaxy M02s.
Install adb, fastboot from here, and the relevant Samsung USB drivers onto your PCs
Download the correct OrangeFox zip file to Samsung Galaxy M02s phone, and to your PC
Extract recovery.img from the OrangeFox zip file, and copy recovery.img to your PC’s adb directory
Reboot Samsung Galaxy M02s into bootloader mode
Open up a command line window / terminal emulator on your PC
Change to the adb directory on your PC
Flash OrangeFox Recovery by running: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Find and select the OrangeFox zip on your phone, tap on it, and swipe to install it
After installation, Samsung Galaxy M02s will automatically reboot into OrangeFox.
