TWRP for M55/F55 is a type of custom recovery that lets you flash 3rd party ROMs. An XDA forum member has released one for the Samsung Galaxy M55 / F55 android phone. VbMeta image is not required for flashing this on M55 or F55.
Download the TWRP from the TeamWin’s website and get the latest version available. It is available in both tar and img formats.
To flash it, you would to unlock bootloader and enable developer options. For that, go to Settings > About phone and tap on build number seven times. Then, enable USB debugging by going to settings > developer options and turning on USB debugging.
Then, get hold of a copy of ODIN – it is free. Power off your android phone and put it in download mode. Connect your Galaxy M55 / F55 to the computer using USB cable and fire up ODIN with administrative rights.
Click on AP and select the tar file you downloaded earlier. Tap start to flash TWRP custom recovery onto your F55/M55.
Keep in mind that flashing TWRP on to your M55 / F55 will void warranty but it does gives you freedom to get root or flash 3rd party firmwares, which is not possible otherwise.
