Galaxy A22 finally gets Samsung One UI 8.5 at least unofficially. Almost everything is working except a few things such as NFC, WiFi tethering, eye comfort, and unlock delay.
Download the ROM from here. To flash, you will need a custom recovery like TWRP on your A22 to flash it. Use a windows software like ODIN, to flash the ROM. You also use fastboot to flash it using this command.
fastboot flash odm odm.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Of course, you will lose warranty by flashing this unofficial beta ROM for the A22 but this will allow you to enjoy latest software as well. If Samsung does release official software, well, you can revert back to original stock firmware and get software update that way.
Until that happens, you can simply enjoy One UI 8.5 with this unofficial ROM from XDA. It is in beta so there can be bugs here and there.
But other than aforementioned bugs, it is good enough for daily use.
