MediaTek MT6732 is composed of a quad core processor based on the ARM Cortex A53, the first with next-generation ARMv8 64 architecture together with the Cortex A57, which is the counterpart to low power consumption and therefore intended to take the place of many current 32-bit Cortex A7 solutions. The four cores of the MT6732 operate at up to 1.5 GHz, combines new generation high-end GPU ARM Mali T760, with support for OpenGL ES 3.0 and OpenCL 1.2. . The chip should be located at the lower end of the scale of MediaTek’s new 64-bit SoCs Mali T760 also supports cameras up to 13-MP and including the power-saving recording 1080p videos, and also has the ability to play Full HD video at 30 FPS.

The SoC also integrates 3G/4G-LTE modem (HSPA + 42MB / s download, TD-SCDMA and EDGE),dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with support for wireless video streaming technology Miracast, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 4.0 . Finally, MediaTek has also introduced new technology in battery charging, the Pump Express, which halves the waiting times compared to a normal charger with USB port. The MediaTek MT6732 SoC will be available from the third quarter of this year, while Pump Express will arrive within the first half of 2014.
