Samsung has won the contract to manufacture the next generation Apple A8 processor. Production will be done in the same Texas facility that earlier churned out the 64 bit Apple A7 dual-core CPU for the iPhone 5S and iPad Air.

The airlines started in October 1971 which means more than 41 years have passed. According to its wikipedia page its fleet size is 105 and it serves more than 61 destinations.
As usual both of these apps are hosted on Apple’s iTunes server. You can download them from here. While the app is not made for the iPad display it works just fine. The features of it are same as Android version.
Interesting there is a windows phone app too. With it you can store your profile data on your WP device to make booking and check in faster than others. The Malaysia Airlines windows phone also lets you store your travel plans and boarding passes which are accessible even when you are not connected to the Internet.
E Fun, a budget tablet manufacture has churned out a USD 100 smartwatch. Called the NextOne, it has 1.5 inch display and pairs with Android and iOS devices. Like Samsung Galaxy Gear, the NextOne shows notifications from your phone.

On December 31, 2013, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published series of 43 new patents to Apple. Among those patents, the most noteworthy was the one for micro SIM smart card, which reveals Apple’s plans to get this SIM card standard even after winning permissions for a different standard despite protests by Nokia.
More than a year-and-a-half has passed since Nokia and Apple battle over the future SIM cards for mobile phones. Despite Apple winning this war, thanks to European Telecommunications Standards Institute’s approval, Cupertino giant is all set make changes.
Patently Apple states,
In one variant, the first substrate is compliant with a Mini-SIM physical specification. In other variants, the first substrate is compliant with a Micro-SIM physical specification.
They say that Apple is changing the dimensions once again for its micro SIM 3GG card for which it just won a patent. Apple credits Tang Tan, Jason Sloey, Jared Kole, and Naushad Zaveri as the investors of its patent which was originally filed in Q2 2012.

Logitech has churned out an ultra slim keyboard cover for the Apple iPad Air. Its model number TF715 and it connects via Bluetooth. The package includes cover, stand, the keyboard itself. It is priced at 10,800 Yen in Japan. Choice of color is black or white. The Logitech Ultra Slim Keyboard Cover for Ipad Air measures 240 × 169.5 × 7.3mm and weighs 336 grams. As said earlier, it can be used both as keyboard and stand.
Second keyboard model, TF925 , a k a Fabric skin Keyboard Folio is available in three colors - carbon black, Mars red orange, urban gray, and is priced at 14,800 yen. This is how it looks like.
The keyboard layout is English and key pitch is 19 mm. Key stroke is 1.3 mm. All come with a built in lithium ion battery too, which can be later charged via micro USB port. It gives you 3 hours of additional time.
Griffin has released Survivor Skin for the Apple iPhone 5C. Priced a $20 dollars, it is a rebranding of Griffin’s Protector case that was released for the iPhone 5S. This rubber case is thicker than Protector and also has better shock protection. Buttons are also covered with it. There are three holes at the bottom of the case that provide access to the headphone, lighting port and speakers. This case is offered only in black color.
