LG says "Count Me In Too!" to the NetBook market

After SONY, here comes LG. Now, LG wants to be a part of netbook market with it’s LG X110.

Rumors are that it will have the following specifications:

  • 9in display
  • Intel Atom processor
  • 120GB hard drive
  • 2GB RAM
  • HSDPA(optional)

One model is said be with HSDPA and one with it. One with HSDPA will cost ~$800 and one without it will cost ~$650

Sony Ericsson Introduces New Phones: W902, W595 and W302

Sony Ericsson promised that something big was coming on the 3rd birthday of it’s Walkman range. Well, here they are, with their going-to-be flagship model of Walkman range, W902.

W902 is a quad band GSM phone with all the goodies like UMTS, HSDPA and EDGE. It comes with 8GB of M2 memory; 5MP camera and premium quality earphones(HPM-77)

W595 is also a quad band GSM phone and it also has UMTS,HSDPA and EDGE. It has just 2GB of M2 memory. It comes with 3.2 MP camera.

W302 has no 3G; is cheap; has 2MP camera and 512MB of M2 memory.

  • Again, no WiFi. I understand that these are music phones but so is N95.
  • No 3.5″ mm jack
  • W902 is too expensive, rumored to be around €500!

LG XD1 Portable Hard-Drives Unveiled!

LG unveils the XD1 line of portable hard-drives.


The LG XD1 devices are based on 2.5 inch drives with a SATA II interface. The USB 2.0 E-SATA port has transfer speeds of up to 480mbps.
LG will offer the XD1 in capacities of 120, 160, 250, and 320GB and will come in red wine and black pearl colors. Pricing is not available yet.
