Lenovo churned out three new smartphones running Android today. Known as Lenovo S930, S650 and A859, all feature dual-SIM functionality backed with 3G support. They are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processors coupled with 1GB of RAM, and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Xperia Z1 Compact is the much-awaited mini-variant of the flagship smartphone, Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1S is available in US through T-Mobile at $22 per month, or $603 without any contract.

Battery life is said to be around 10 hours or 100 days of standby time. While unit measures only 8.3 mm. There is a 2 MP and 5 MP front and rear camera as well. For communication, you get WiDi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The back of the Teclast Intel P90 looks very much like an elongated iPhone 5s. It is on sale with a price tag of 999 Chinese Yuan that rounds to USD 160.

Ace Liquid Z5 has finally made its way to the Asian lands. This 5-inch budget Android smartphone is priced at €169 ($ 230) and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Featuring a 5-inch display, the Liquid Z5 packs a dual-core 1.3GHz processor with only 4GB of inbuilt storage.

Acer also touts the Liquid Z5’s Float UI, which allows additional app windows to be overlaid, for better multitasking. It appears as translucent screen that floats over the function being used, with easy access to eight Float Apps, including caller, camera, maps, calculator and notes.
GammaTech Computer Corp has announced the addition of its latest fully rugged notebook computer, the DURABOOK R8300. The unit is certified to stringent MIL-STD-810G and IP65 specifications. The Durabook R8300 notebook is built for harsh environment and exceeds the most difficult environmental specifications. Specifications it meets are: MIL-STD 810G for shock, drop, vibration and temperature; IP65 for water and dust resistance; and MIL-STD 461F, ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 (formerly known as UL1601 – Class 1 Division 2), and ATEX Zone 2 for operation in hazardous locations.
