As expected, we now have the instructions on how to back up or restore the Note 3 phone. For running the procedure, you must have root access on your Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Also, you need to enable USB debugging on your phone.

Folks at XDA have finally found a way on how to root the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone. The instructions work for both Exynos-based as-well-as Snapdragon-based model. Just keep in mind that your warranty gets void when you root it. However, I am yet to test triangle away with my Note 3 to see if it can bring the flash counter to zero. Anyway, here are the instructions.
As expected, CWM (clockwork mod) recovery for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been released. Here are the download links for various Note 3 variants. You will need CWM recovery to achieve root and flash custom ROMs.
The 625 should be on par with the 920 for battery life, because they both have 2,000 mAh. The screen sizes are very similar — I have held the 920 (4.5 in.) in hand with a HTC One (4.7 in.), and the One’s screen barely looked larger to me. Also based on what a lot of reviews are saying, the 625’s screen isn’t that great nor does it have the useful sunlight readability that the 920 has.

The well informed evleaks have posted on their twitter ID the name of the future Nokia phone, in this case, it is Nokia Glee. No further information was earlier released. However, Tom Warren, who is the TheVerge’s editor said that the phone will run on windows phone platform and will be a music-centric device.

My android phone suddenly just refused to charge or turn on and I’m mid contract planning on moving to contract free soon. I ended up with Windows Phone because for $100 the Lumia 520 was surprisingly good, unlike the $80 goPhone android model they had at the at&t store. And I’m far too dependent on a smartphone to go even a few months without one.

I like WP more than I thought I would. It has it’s perks and it’s very usable. I mean the fact that for $100 with no contract I can get a WP is amazing. That said, being heavily invested in the Google ecosystem I too will probably switch in a few months once the nexus 5 is out.

So the Nokia Lumia 1020 has started to show in various markets (finally) and many of the Lumia 920 users are now thinking to replace their 1 year old phone with 1020. Here is how it goes – the 1020 and 920 are practically the same phone aside from the camera (obviously) and other minor hardware upgrades. If you weren’t happy with the 920 because of software then you probably won’t be happy with a 1020.
