Rikomagic MK903V specifications, comes with Rockchip RK3288

We saw the Rikomagic MK903V back in June and that time it was not given a casing. Now it has been given a final shape and the company has unveiled its official specs as well.

We now know that the Rikomagic MK903V specifications include an adjustable Wi-Fi antenna, 2x micro USB ports, OTG port, micro SD card reader, full size USB 2.0 port and a very lovely housing.

There is 2 gigabytes of RAM inside and 8GB of flash storage which is expandable via micro SD card slot. As mentioned in the title, the Rikomagic MK903V comes with Rockchip RK3288 processor with a clock rate of 1.8 GHz.

The CPU is backed by ARM Mali T764 GPU that supports 4K video as well. The machine runs Android 4.4 kitkat operating system.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 Specifications, new tablet with Snapdragon 200

Chinese company Huawei has launched MediaPad T1 8.0 today which shows company’s interest in Snapdragon CPUs and quality hardware. Normally Chinese companies prefer using cheap CPUs from MediaTek and AllWinner to keep the costs low.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 specifications include display of 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, two cameras – 5 megapixel (rear) and 0.3 megapixel (front), Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6.

Not to be missed is built in 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 4800 mAh battery.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is already available in Chinese market and you can choose from white or silver color. In terms of our currency it will cost 162 dollars. We have been told that the device will go on sale in Europe as well very soon.

The company will be officially releasing it in Europe at IFA 2014 which will be taking place in Berlin.

Nokia Lumia 830 Photos Leaked, comes with Pure View camera

Microsoft which now owns Nokia is all set to release successor to the Lumia 820, the 830. It will be announced officially within few weeks from now but a few of its alleged photos have already surfaced online.

In fact it includes data that points to its different variants for US as well as for other parts of world.

The Nokia Lumia 830 was spotted on Brazil Anatel certification website.

The Brazil’s Anatel website is similar to what we have in the US. So far the phone looks very interesting chiefly because of two facts – it has a removable battery like low end Lumia phones and second, it has pure view camera optics.

The phone measures 139.4 mm x 70.7 mm x 8.5 mm and is thus very thin. On the top there is a micro USB charging port near to the headphone port.

The Lumia 830 model that we spotted is RM-985 which will change to Lumia 830 once it goes public. Other specifications include 4G LTE, dedicated camera button and capacitive hardware buttons for navigation.

LG G3 Root procedure now available, works for Sprint, Verizon, TMobile and AT&T variants

We finally now know how to perform root on the LG G3 and the best part is that it works on all variants including Sprint, Verizon, TMobile and AT&T  versions.

Here is the method to root LG G3 and its Sprint, Verizon, TMobile and AT&T variants

* Install StumpRoot from here.
* Run StumpRoot
* Reboot after app tells you to
* Install SuperSU from play store market
* Uninstall StumpRoot

Asus K01B 14 tablet specifications, spotted on GFXbench website

Few months back we spotted Asus K01A on GFXbench and today we found another Asus tablet that is being referred to as Asus K01B. The tablet seems to be equipped with a whopping 14.2 inch display which will put it in line with mainstream laptops that come with 13.3 or 14.1 inch screens.

While full list of Asus K01B specifications is not yet available we do know that it comes with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system onboard and is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processors which is backed by Adreno 320 graphics.

This same GPU was used in Nexus 2013 model. You also get 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera for selfies.

RAM is said to be 2 gigabytes while the storage is 16GB expandable via micro SD card slot. Screen packs full HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution.

Panasonic to launch Windows Phone by end of 2014?

All Panasonic smartphones on sale run Android operating system but the company is also planning to launch a phone running windows phone operating system.

Panasonic is planning to launch its Android devices in UAE by this year end. The company has enjoyed decent sales in India with its budget phones and is planning on achieving five percent market share by end-2014. The company will be bringing their phones from India to UAE.

Managing director for Panasonic Marketing Middle East and Africa Shinichi Wakita told Khaleej Times that a windows phone handset is also in the works.
