We reviewed the Kiano Elegance 9.7 3G in December 2013 and we loved the fact that it came with Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system pre loaded which ensured fluid user interface. Kiano’s Dual Core 10.1 tablet was still devoid of it, until now. The company is finally offering the new OS for it. You can download and install the OS by following this link.

The Kiano Dual Core 10.1 3G has all the hardware to run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smoothly, thanks to the Rockchip RK3066 dual core processor that hums at 1.6 GHz clock speed and 1 gigabytes of RAM. For storage, you get 16 GB of flash storage and micro SD card slot (supports 32GB capacity).

Not every kid has rich parents. So, Lark has released a cheap tablet for the youth that usually do not have a lot of money to spend on a tablet. For just EUR 47 / PLN 199, you can the FreeMe X2 7.2 tablet that has dual core processor, 512 MB of memory and Android 4.2.2 jelly bean operating system.

Lark FreeMe X2 7.2 Specs include 7 inch screen, dual core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, built in 4 GB flash storage, and Android 4.2.2 OS. To get you online, Lark has included a 802.11n Wi-Fi module as well.

There is also an HDMI port, micro USB for connecting it to the computer and headphone jack. To power all that, Lark FreeMe X2 7.2 has a built in 3000 mAh battery which should easily last you through the day.

As said earlier, the Lark FreeMe X2 7.2 price is 199 PLN or 47 euro.

Sometimes, you can very interesting tablets in foreign market. One of them is Wammy Ehtos Tab 3 that features interesting specifications at decent price. It costs EUR 130.

Wammy Ehtos Tab 3 Specs are amazing but display is un-amusing

Powered by a quad core Mediatek MTK8390 processor, the Wammy Ehtos Tab 3 Quad Core Dual SIM Tablet is backed by 1 gigabytes of RAM, 8 GB of built in flash storage, micro SD card slot (up to 32 gigabytes supported) and Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.

As said earlier, the display is the most uninspiring of all its specs. It has a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. However, gives its price tag and its ability to accepts dual SIM cards, the Wammy Ehtos Tab 3 Quad Core Dual SIM Tablet is still a great deal.

The Ehtos can also make telephone calls. Communication module include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The device is equipped with two cameras – 5 and 2 megapixels, back and front respectively. Under the shell you will find the battery which has a capacity of 3500 mAh. The tablet costs 129 euros is a little more than 500 PLN. You are getting a pretty interesting equipment for the price, but you have to order it from abroad.

A couple of new Lenovo devices have appeared on Bluetooth SIG group, Lenovo A3300 and A3500, both of which are most likely to be launched in a month or two. The A3300 will become successor to last year’s model, the Lenovo A3000 and will most likely sport the same size display as latter.

This tablet is equipped with a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 4-core MediaTek CPU with clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 2-megapixel main camera, front camera dedicated for video calls (0.3 megapixels), built-in 3G that allows making calls and micro USB port. Above all, it runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Lenovo A3500 specs

The A3500 looks like last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and packs 10.1 inch display, 1280×800 pixel resolution, 5 megapixel camera, Mediatek processor, 1GB RAM, webcam, and Android 4.2 operating system.

Polish company, Manta Multimedia has released an Internet tablet running Android operating system, the Manta MID717. The manufacture says that it is suitable for browsing, email, and social networking sites. Of course, it works just fine for watching movies too. However, its most highlighted feature is its ability to accept 2 SIM cards.

Equipped with a MediaTek MTK6572 dual core CPU paired with 1 gigabytes of RAM, you get decent performance and Android jelly bean runs pretty darn smooth on it.

For storage, you get 4 GB of flash storage on MID717 which is fortunately expandable via micro SD card slot.

Manta MID717 costs PLN 499 / EUR 120 / USD 163. That is not a lot for a dual SIM tablet.

MODECOM FreeTAB 1010 is quite frankly the cheapest tablet out there that runs the full fledge Windows OS. Based on x86 infrastructure, it runs Windows 8.1 not the shrunken down Windows RT. MODECOM FreeTAB 1010 Specs are quite amazing

The tablet runs windows 8 and is powered by dual core Intel Celeron N2805 processor that is manufactured using 22 nanometer processing technology and runs at 1.46 GHz clock speed. The CPU is backed by Intel HD graphics and 2 gigabytes of DDR3 type RAM.

The display measures 10.1 inches and features 10.1 IPS technology. Resolution is decent too – 1280×800 which will enable full metro user interface on it. For storage, you get meager 32 GB which is fortunately expandable via SD card slot.

Other specs include 7000 mAh battery, 802.11n Wi-Fi, digital compass, micro USB, USB 3.0 OTG compatible port, HDMI 1.4, 2 megapixel rear camera and 2 MP webcam. It measures 259 x 173 x 9.9 mm.

It is extremely rare to find productive tablets with 128GB of storage. Until now, Windows 8 tablets have only been offered in either 32 or 64 GB storage capacities. This is the first time, a PC manufacture is offering a tablet with 128GB storage. Meet the Lenovo ThinkPad 8, the might be the best tablet to stay productive.

128GB ThinkPad 8 Price

Lenovo wants mere EUR / USD 599 for it. This is an extremely well thought price tag for something with such amazing specs and display, which packs higher resolution than the industry standard resolution, 1280×800. Not a lot of shops in Europe are selling it, but I think Cyberport.de is selling it. It is yet to go on a sale in US land.

128GB ThinkPad 8 Specs

Lenovo ThinkPad 8 runs Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system and it runs butter smooth, thanks to the quad core Intel Atom Z3770 processor (2.4 GHz) and 2 gigabytes of main memory (RAM). For communication, you get a dual band Wi-Fi network card, and Bluetooth 4.0. Other specifications of this tablet include 8-megapixel main camera and front webcam.

Colorovo CityTab Lite 7” 2.1 is the latest tablet with a diagonal display size of seven inches. Can you expect anything good from a tablet that has a suggested retail price of USD 80 (CNY 490)? The answer is yes.

Despite being so cheap, the Colorovo was able to fit a dual-core Rockchip 3026 processor (ARM Cortex-A9) with a clock frequency of 1.0 GHz, backed by dual-core graphics chip, the Mali-400. You get 512 MB ​​of RAM with CityTab Lite 7 2.1. For storage, you get meager 4GB built-in memory, which is fortunately expandable through the use of micro SD card slot. The 7-inch display packs WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels).

It runs Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system. For communication, you get 802.11n Wi-Fi, micro USB port, front webcam (0.3 mega pixel) and to keep the price low, there is no rear camera.

Battery capacity is 2500 mAh, and with that capacity, we do not expect it to yield more than 3 hours of active use.

Kurio has launched 4G tablet called 7x and a smartphone for kids. The phone is pretty basic, and is designed for both kids and parents who want to monitor and control activities of their kids.

Kurio 7x 4G LTE tablet Specs include Android 4.2 operating system, 8 user profiles, 8 inch display, WVGA resolution, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of flash storage and support for the LTE – only Verizon network is supported though.

The tablet comes with a protective bumper case as well. Kurio has installed a software that lets parents manage contact list and ability to manage calls  and messages. Parents can also view message and call logs.

Pricing information is not available but we will know that when the company will launch it this summer.

Coolpad did a press conference today and launched a new tablet called 9976A. Its specs include Mediatek octa core processor, dual SIM slots and 13 megapixel camera. Price is estimated a 1888 Yuan, which is around USD 312.

The Coolpad 9976A runs Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and has a custom UI which the company calls CoolLife 5.0. The display is full 7 inches and packs full HD resolution (1920×1080). Its octa core Mediatek MT6592 processor runs at 1.7 GHz clock speed, which is backed by quad core Mali 450 MP4 GPU (clocked at 700 MHz) and 2 gigabytes of RAM.

For storage, you get 8 GB flash storage, but you can expand Coolpad 9976A’s storage by its micro SD card slot.

Other Coolpad 9976A specs include 13 megapixel rear camera, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 5 MP webcam (front), GSM + WCDMA radio, NFC technology, USB port and even HDMI port.

Despite packing all that, Coolpad 9976A manages to stay pretty slim as it is mere 7.6 mm thick. Battery life should last you a day easily, thanks to its 4000 mAh capacity.
