Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd , today announced its new desktop chassis Lian Li DK-04 : the first box for personal computers that hold standing. This chassis offers improved design for the enthusiast, better assembly of storage units, improved support for liquid and most importantly cooling.
Lian Li DK-04 review: Standing desks are not only fashionable, but are proving to be beneficial and healthy in many ways. Lian Li has tried to design a new chassis for desktop computers in this spirit. Users can choose to use up to four different height positions from 78 cm to 117 cm, which can make the desktop automatically with touch of a button thanks to the electric motor that incorporates. The DK-04 can serve as a desk for work in a given and move to a table to play in an instant moment.
With four racks to install storage units equipped with rubber insulation, the DK-04 can support a total of eight units of 2.5 or 3.5 inches with vibration dampers. These racks are easy to install and remove by thumbscrews and help keep the units quietly and reliably while in use. This table also includes a 5.25-inch bay on the front panel for an optical drive, a fan controller and other extras. The front panel also includes four USB 3.0 ports, audio inputs HD, and slots for the RGB controller for lighting kit that can be purchased as an option.
The new Lian Li DK-04 features a new design, sporting a slimmer frame which tapers towards the user for greater legroom. As this is a desk stand, the height can be tuned to match each person. Their legs are steel for maximum structural strength; in this way it is achieved that can withstand loads up to 100 kg.
Equipped with four 120mm air intake from the front of the chassis and expel warm air through four fans additional exhaust mounted on the rear panel, the new DK-04 can also accommodate elaborate configurations liquid coolings . The front fans can be interchanged to facilitate mounting of a large radiator 120mmx480mm, while the rear fans can be replaced by two radiators 120mmx240mm.
