Believe it not, Sony is on the verge of launching its Playstation app for the windows phone platform. This report comes from folks at wmpoweruser who have the real screenshots that look legit enough as they have used Metro user interface everywhere in the app.
ASUS Padfone Lite Infinity was officially launched in Taiwan on February 19. It turned out that the new device listed on the ASUS website is Asus PadFone Infinity A80 repackaged with lower price. It has been made available from Feb 19 onwards for the Asian Markets on the Family Mart retail chain. It will be made avialable at all the electronic chains/retail outlets March 18 onwards.
LG launched the new LG L-series smartphones in MWC 2014 named LG L40, L70, L90. These models will features a similar chassis, are shipped with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, and powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Through these models, LG is looking forward to target the entry level segment.
The Taiwanese company showcased U21MD Convertible Tablet with Windows 8 recently at CES 2014. The tablet has a classic design, measures (297 x 226 x 20 mm) weighs 1.4 Kg. USP of the tab is that it can work as a laptop, a convertible tablet and can be rotated to 180 degrees if attached to the docking station.

Amlogic’s new S802 processor is an ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core CPU with Mali 450 graphics. It runs at speeds up to 2 GHz, and early tests suggest it could be noticeably faster than an RK3188 chip. The processor also handles display resolutions up to 3840 x 2160. And at least two new set top boxes featuring the chip should be available in the coming months.

As speculated, HP launched VocieTab first in India. The 6 inch model will cost about Rs. 23,000 or $ 370. The HP Slate6 will feature a 6-inch IPS LCD display with 720×1280 resolution. It will be powered by a Marvell PXA1088 SoC with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The HP Slate6 will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and sport dimensions of 165×82.6×8.98mm and weighs 160 grams.

Nokia’s Lumia Icon, the 5 inch smartphone is all set to hit market on February 20th. The new smartphone seems like a smaller version of 6 inch Lumia 1520. The handset has a 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, a 2420 mAh battery, and a 20MP camera with a Zeiss lens. The phone runs Windows Phone 8 software, works on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and Qi wireless charging.
The Alps windows tablet is a 10.1-inch Intel Atom Z3740D “Bay Trail T” quad-core SoC based tablet, which operates at 1.33 GHz standard clock and switches to up to 1.83 GHz when needed. The device also has 2 GB RAM and is equipped with 32 GB of SSD, expandable via microSD card slot. The display has a resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels on and uses the IPS technology.

Sony’s XperiaG, the 4.8 inch middle class smartphone was leaked on Twitter. Phone was awaiting official launch at MWC meet next week. The smartphone might feature an 8 MP rear camera, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory, will be Android 4.2/4.3 Jelly Bean. Xperia G will have the same home launcher and UI found in Xperia SP and V.
Samsung’s new 7 inch Galaxy Tab 3 Lite tablet is now available in US market. The tablet is loaded with features like 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, a 1024 X 600 pixels TN display, a 2 MP camera at rear (no front camera).
