Long time Nokia users will be very familiar with the Nokia Multimedia Transfer Application, a program that allows you to transfer media files between Nokia N series phones and Mac. That, however is not compatible with the Lumia Windows Phones. The Finnish company has released a new application called Nokia Photo Transfer for Mac, a new utility that allows users of Nokia Lumia smartphones with Windows Phone 8 OS to transfer images to and from the computer running Mac OS.

Joe Belfiore said on twitter that he would be taking several photos with his new Nokia Lumia 1020. One of its Twitter followers warned him of the Other storage problem that is prevalent in all Windows phones running WP8 OS. Well, at least that’s what the reports from a page on Telstra and Vodafone are showing. The long awaited Windows Phone update Amber, also known as GDR2 will probably be released on August 14. The image shown below shows that update for Nokia Lumia 920 is already in final testing. But the update for Lumia 520, apparently has been postponed. Same goes for Lumia 720 as Nokia has not submitted the firmware update to them yet.
