Fujitsu U820 3G for just $1199 with AT&T broadband connection

You don’t hear about such deals a lot of times. Fujitsu is now offering the U820 along with AT&T broadband connection and that too for just $1199. That is not it. Unlike the Asian versions, the US 3G models are coming with 120GB HDD. Asian models known as U2010 come with 60GB HDD and just 2-cell battery.

American versions also come with a bigger 4-cell battery with the default configuration, which should give you atleast 5 hours of battery life with the extremely power-frugal Atom CPU.

It seems to be a Christmas gift for the XDA Mantle owners. The O2 has come up with the Windows Mobile 6.1 update just in time. The O2 Mantle originally came with Windows Mobile 6.0. The update is free of cost. Here are the specs of the handset.

Nokia's Mail on Ovi public beta goes 'live'

Mail on Ovi, the free email account from Nokia, is now ‘live’ and can be set up directly on Nokia phones without requiring a PC to get started. People who use Nokia Series 40 devices can create their own email address directly on their mobile phones.

The Ovi email account gives a person all the features and functionalities of a typical PC-based email account. During the Beta period, consumers will be able to choose from 12 languages based on the settings of their device, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Bengali, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysia.

New SONY VAIO coming – can it be a netbook?

Currently, if you go to Sony’s NZ website, you will see the following. So, in 17 days and some hours, they will be revealing a new VAIO that made a lot of news few days back?

What’s more? If you live in NZ, you have a chance to win one too! Can it be the rumored netbook(shown below) from SONY? Or something else. Frankly speaking, the only type of model NOT there in the SONY current line of Notebooks is the netbooks. Almost every company have a netbook in their laptop range except SONY. Perhaps this the one we have been waiting for

Lenovo Thinkpad W700 – find my second screen if you can!

At first look, it looks like just another (bulky) (ugly) Lenovo laptop. But, this is one is different. It hides something that most of the other laptops don’t posses so far. It has a huge 10.2″ display hidden underneath the palm rest. Lenovo has worked very hard on the Thinkpad W700 to make it a super laptop. Beside the it’s hidden weapon, the 10″ screen, it comes with Intel Quad-core processor and internal color calibrato, which makes it a true mobile workstation!

If that was enough, it comes with NVIDIA Quadro FX 2700M and 3700M Open GL graphics processors that give this beast up to 1 GB of dedicated video memory.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for US now available

Nokia is rolling out 5800 XpressMusic in the US with 3G support. Of course, the support for the US bands is there. Now, here is the odd thing. Where is the carrier logo? May be Nokia has plans to make them available unlocked. So those folks who wish to pick one up, be very prepared for a huge price tag. But, then look at the brighter side, that will be one time payment and you will be free to choose the carrier you want to be on.

The best part about it is the 3.2″ 640 x 360 resolution display. This is not up to the par of one of those new Windows Mobile devices like the new HTC TOUCH HD and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, but it is not shabby too. Nokia is even bundling 8GB micro-SD card to make the whole package even attractive.
