US network provider AT&T has announced that it will be the first wireless carrier to sell the Asus PadFone X. The phone passed through FCC’s website this week and is one step closer to launch.
The Asus PadFone X is a 5 inch smartphone that you can slide into a 9 inch tablet when you want bigger screen experience. Its specifications include a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor by Qualcomm, 16 gigabytes of flash storage and Android 4.4 kitkat operating system.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to hit all major United States carriers in April including AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint which will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit on April 11th. The network provider will sell the phone for $199.99 tied to a two-year contract or $649.99 off-contract.
According to the well-connected evleaks, the all new 2014 HTC One will hit the market shelves for $600 off-contract where it would not be tied to a particular network provider. Additionally a gold color option will be made exclusive to Best Buy outlets.

Pocket, a read-it-later service has announced a prototype for the Android Wear’s OS that lets you save links directly from your smartwatch. The watch will now be able to save content to your Pocket content without ever having to touch your smartphone.

It appears Samsung may unveil an affordable version of Galaxy S5 soon as user agent profile of device called SM-G750 has been uploaded to Samsung’s servers. Its codename suggests it is a profile for an AT&T network bound smartphone.
Sony recently started taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z2 tablet in UK and now the device is available directly from the Sony’s online store. All three models of the Xperia Z2 tablet are showing as “in stock” on their website including 16GB and 32GB WiFi-only models. There is an LTE model as well.
Earlier in March, Samsung released two Chromebooks in the market. Dubbed as Samsung Chromebook 2, it comes in two different sizes where one features a 11.6 inch display while other features a 13.3”. Both models are slated to hit the market shelves in UK in month on May.

Intel has been selling haswell processors for a while and now those are set to be replaced in the second half of 2014 with new and faster broadwell chips. In fact, Intel has announced some of these chips for desktop machines this week where the chip maker mentioned that its parts will support DDR4 memory as well.
Slated to be launched in the second half of 2014, one of these Broadwell parts will feature an eight-core Core i7 Extreme Edition aimed at gamers. It will have the most cores offered on desktop parts.

Last month, HTC released couple of min-range Android phones at the MWC 2014 event. Now it looks like these are not the only devices HTC is planning to launch and is working on another budget Android phone dubbed as HTC Desire 516. Toshiba has released a new range of laptops today, one of many is the new Toshiba Satellite P50t which comes equipped with an Ultra HD 4K resolution display. This means its screen packs 3,840 x 2,160 pixels on its 15.6 inch panel.
Toshiba is yet to announce prices of the P50T and it will be launching it in Q2 2014. It will also be made available with a 1080p display. Along with the P50T the company also launched C50 / C50D.
