Evleaks twitter account is active again and this time Evan Blass has a blurred image of Microsoft Lumia 1040, which is supposed to replace the aging Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone. This is picture he just posted on his twitter account:

Stock recovery for Motorola Moto E 2015 is now available for download. If you have flashed custom recovery like TWRP or CWM on your Moto E 2015, you will not be able to receive OTA updates on your android phone. This is because the system is aware of the fact that you have applied mods on your phone and prohibits you from getting any future updates.

Flashing custom recovery on Moto E 2015 will re enable the OTA updates. This is meant to be flashed to only GSM units which means if your phone is XT1511, that is the CDMA version, you cannot flash it. Again – it is meant to be used only with GSM variants of Motorola Moto E 2015. Download it from the link given below.

Galaxy Alpha is a great phone but let us accept it, Samsung used it as testing device to see if the market is ready for a premium Samsung Android phone or not. Now that Samsung Galaxy S6 is the most premium looking phone from company, they are not pushing improved features of S6 to Alpha users which is kind-of worrisome. Fret not as XDA has released a Galaxy S6 ROM for Galaxy Alpha users.

This ROM is deodexed, and comes with a Galaxy S6 launcher, keyboard, weather widget and its applications. It is also fully rooted so no need to root Galaxy Alpha using conventional methods. Just make sure you have CWM or TWRP for galaxy alpha installed as only then you will be able to flash the Galaxy S6 ROM for Galaxy Alpha.

Here are the installation instructions:

1. Download the ROM from here.
2. Fully wipe your phone using TWRP and then put the ROM into the root folder of your device.
3. Boot into recovery by pressing volume up and power button simultaneously. Select Rom from there and install.
