ZTE Blade Q Mini, Normal and Maxi Launched

ZTE has just rolled out a slew of phones. The 4-inch Blade Q Mini, 4.5-inch Blade Q and 5-inch Blade Q Maxi. They all have common specs that include dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, HSPA+ data, 4 gigabytes of storage, 5 megapixel rear camera, 0.3 megapixel front camera and IPS based display technology. Front webcam is, however missing on the ZTE Blade Q Mini.

Breaking: Motorola Announces Project Ara

Do you remember PhoneBloks, when we said it unworkable it was. Looks like Motorola has been burning the midnight oil on a similar project last year. Their project is called "project ara".  The company is not inheriting Phoneblocks vision, but will also be working with folks at Phonebloks to make a modular phone as soon as possible. Motorola has started inviting developers to design the modules for the Project Ara platform. In fact, a MDK (module developer kit) will be churned out later winter.

CyanogenMod 10.2 Nightlies Released For The Sony Xperia Z Ultra

When it comes to making appealing hardware, Sony makes some of the best-looking phones out there. Take their mammoth-size Xperia Z Ultra for instance that features a 6.4 inch display. However, users have not been very pleased with Sony’s custom user interface. If you like to run something close to AOSP, the impeccable CyanogenMod team is now offering nightly builds of CM 10.2. The download size is just 217 megabytes.
