Asus TF300 gets Android 4.2 update
The TF300 has been on sale for quite sometime now and while most companies would have abandoned it by now, Asus has rolled out Android 4.2 update for it XNXTT8YJQ9R3. The new update is about 17 MB and it fixes an IME bug and improves HDMI connectivity. It also optimizes Gmail app with Asus Splashtop. Some other minor bugs have also been fixed.

Samsung has finally announced the availability of Galaxy Note 8.0 through its authorized retailers. It will made available for purchase via Future shop, best buy and staples. The price is set at 430 dollars, which makes it about 30 dollars more expensive than the US’ price tag.

Galaxy Note 8.0 Root
The Galaxy Note 2 and earlier Galaxy devices required you to use ODIN method to root. Not anymore. There is a new method devised for the Galaxy Note 8.0 that requires you to just install a simple APK on your tablet and then follow a couple of more steps to get root.

Verizon to release Galaxy S4 in May
We spotted this tweet from Verizon’s twitter account that says the network provider will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the month of May. Other US carriers will be getting the phone in the month of April. For instance, Sprint will be rolling it out on April 27, T-Mobile 24th of this month and US Cellular 24th of April and so on. US Cellular will be throwing in a free flip case to make the deal more lucrative.
