HTC has rolled Desire Q officially in its home country, Taiwan. The new phone features a 4.0 inch display and packs WVGA (800×480) pixel resolution. The Desire Q runs Android 4.1 jelly bean operating system. The phone is targeted as budget phone and it features 1GHz single core processor, 4GB flash storage, 512MB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G.

LG electronics has launched Optimus L7 II Dual in India. The L7 II Dual is a direct competitor to the middle-level phones like Galaxy Grand from Samsung and HTC 8S. The L7 II Dual specs include 1 GHz dual- core processor, 4 GB internal memory, 2,460 mAh battery, 4.3 inch IPS display with 400 x 800 pixel resolution and an 8MP camera with LED flash to take some crisp pictures.
