Acer has launched One S1001 in the Asian market for 325 dollars which is very much reminiscent to the Acer Aspire Switch 10 launch few months back. It makes use of same 2 in 1 hybrid tablet concept but has slightly different design.
It runs windows 8.1 operating system just like Switch 10.
Acer One S1001 Specifications
Acer One S1001 comes equipped with Intel Atom Z3637F quad core processor backed by 1 gigabyte of memory. Folks at omglaptop report that there is a 2GB model is in the works and we feel that users should opt for that model.
Other Acer One S1001 specifications include 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 0.3 mega pixel front and 2MP rear camera, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 2.0 ports (one on the keyboard), a microUSB and a microHDMI.
There is a 6000 mAh battery and spacious 500GB hard disk included in the keyboard dock. There is no word if it will make it to the European and USA market.
