Acer Spin 3 SP314-51 2018 was launched at the CES 2018. This is a convertible 2-in-1 laptop that can be used as tablet simply by flipping the screen. SP314-51 specifications include the latest Intel processor packed in a versatile and compact design at affordable price tag. This updated version of the Acer Spin 3 is designed for productivity and entertainment. Its durable 360-degree two-pair hinge allows it to work as a laptop, tablet and display, while also offering a comfortable presentation mode.
The chassis is made of polycarbonate , but the metallic finish that covers palm-rest and covers helps to make its appearance refined and “clean” from fingerprints / dirt.
Acer Spin 3 2018 specifications include Intel Core i5 / i7 (Kaby Lake Refresh), 8-16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of space on SSD or up to 1TB of space on HDD ( it is also possible to choose configurations with hybrid storage). The 14-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels) is obviously touch and is protected by an edge-to-edge glass, with a camera in the upper frame. Acer Spin 3 offers up to 12 hours of battery life for work and fun on the move, with two front stereo speakers equipped with Acer True Harmony technology. The keyboard is unfortunately not backlit but offers good typing experience and precision touchpad.
Acer Spin 3 will be available in Europe/USA from January to the starting price of 699 dollars/euros.
