Well, at least that’s what the reports from a page on Telstra and Vodafone are showing. The long awaited Windows Phone update Amber, also known as GDR2 will probably be released on August 14. The image shown below shows that update for Nokia Lumia 920 is already in final testing. But the update for Lumia 520, apparently has been postponed. Same goes for Lumia 720 as Nokia has not submitted the firmware update to them yet.

Chinese site, WeiPhone has published a picture, which shows a bunch of plastic iPhone 5C boxes with Apple logo on the side of the packaging. The iPhone 5C is expected to be cheaper than current gen iPhone and is slated to be launched later this year. The box has square rounded corners.
Since the debut of Windows Phone 8 platform, YouTube’s support has been poor, despite excellent efforts by Microsoft. Google forced MS to withdraw their YouTube app. The new app is currently being worked upon, but Nokia is showing their commitment to the platform by releasing an app that lets you upload YouTube videos directly from your phone.

Samsung in April-June had a record turnover of the business. The company’s net sales rose to 57.46 trillion and operating profit of 9.53 trillion won (38.94 billion and 6.45 billion euros) over the last three-month period. The company released those figures earlier this month. Although the figures set new records, the market was expecting even better figures.
Rumors are brewing that Intel will provide Apple with super powerful Haswell processors, that include Core i7 3840QM, 4900MQ, and 4950HQ. The processors will be backed by Intel Iris Pro 5200 GPU, which is Intel;s highest end GT3e integrated graphics.
