MediaTek MT6795 Specifications, 64-bit 8-core CPU

Chinese processor maker, Mediatek is all to launch myriad smartphones and tablets by the end of this year. It is being said that the Mediatek MT6795 will power most of those devices.

The MT6795 specifications include 64-bit, octa-core  architecture. Its clock speed is 2.2 GHz and is based on HMP.

PowerVR G6200 graphics clocked at 700 MHz back the CPU which has full support for 4K video playback and 30 FPS encoding.

The Mediatek MT6795 chipset supports HSPA+ and LTE radios and has full support for displays up to 2560×1600 pixels. Camera support is there too with up to 20 megapixel sensors. This processor will be made available around December 2014.

Sony Lue Z Windows Phone 8.1 Spotted

Sony used to be a strong supporter of Windows Mobile and churned out several devices running that platform. But when the platform eventually died and MS released Windows Phone, no phones were announced from Sony.

Today Evleaks is reporting that Sony is working on a new handset called Lue Z and by the picture leaked, it is safe to assume that it runs Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

No specifications are available at the moment but it is great to see WP platform being adapted by more and more OEMs.

Dell Venue Pro 11 Specifications, with Atom Z3795

As expected Dell has updated the specifications of Venue Pro 11 and the new configuration includes Atom Z3795 quad core Bay Trail processor.

The new Dell Venue Pro 11 comes preloaded with Windows 8.1 64 bit operating system and only 2 gigabytes of RAM. Other than that there are no other hardware changes when compared to the outgoing model.

The new Intel Atom Z3795 has a frequency of 1.59GHz and reaches 2:39 GHz in Turbo mode. The 2GB RAM is paired with 64GB of internal memory and as mentioned earlier the operating system is Windows 8.1

The new Dell Venue Pro will be available in two versions, WiFi-only and WiFi + 3G and both will be compatible with the accessories already available on the market.

The new model with Intel Atom Z3795 is priced at 496 Euros (WiFi version) and at 560 euros (3G version).

Nokia Lumia 930 Unboxing and first impressions

Nokia has launched its new Lumia 930 smartphone in the market and it offers absolutely high end equipment for the first time in a reasonably compact form. The Lumia 930 has a lot to offer. Nokia has packed everything that is good and expensive.

For almost 480 euros, the customer gets a Windows Phone with five inch large AMOLED display which is very bright – almost like no other Nokia smartphone so far.

It is therefore also easy to read outdoors. Under the hood lies the Snapdragon 800 with its four 2.26 GHz cores and 2 GB of RAM.

For storage you get 32 GB of flash memory, which unfortunately can not be extended.

Lenovo S20 30 Specifications, touchscreen netbook with 11.6 inch display

Lenovo has launched a couple of cheap netbooks today. After launching the 10 inch E10-30 sometime back the company has launched IdeaPad S20-30 which sports a bigger 11.6 inch display.

It is a windows computer that runs on either Intel Celeron or Pentium Bay Trail SoC. Prices start at 270 euros for the base model. Today we have all of its specifications.
