HTC One A9 official wallpapers: Download HTC One A9 factory wallpapers

HTC has included some breathtaking wallpapers for the HTC One A9 and one HTC One A9 has shared them with us. The official factory ROM includes six wallpapers and all of them are related to nature in some manner. The first HTC One A9 wallpaper is about a rock, second is about cloud, third rocks, four desert, fifth lava and last one shows sand.

The HTC One A9 wallpapers have resolution of 2160 x 1920 pixels and are perfect for any phone with full HD resolution. So if your phone has FHD resolution, downloading these HTC One A9 wallpapers will be an excellent choice. They look amazingly well on my Apple iPhone 6S.

HTC One A9 TWRP is a custom recovery for the android phone that allows you to flash custom mods and custom ROMs. TWRP for HTC One A9 is similar to the CWM but allows one to interact using touchscreen instead of mashing myriad buttons.

Download TWRP for HTC One A9

The TWRP for HTC One A9 was coded differently compared to previous HTC’s android device as with A9, the company has moved to black based OTA system. This means any changes made to system partition will cause an OTA update to fail.

Type in these commands in ADB.

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
* then boot into recovery and format your data partition.
* Ignore password prompt.
* Go to wipe > format data > type in “yes”.

Root HTC One A9

HTC One A9 has DM verity enabled and makes use of encryption so root on One A9 is achieved only through system less root methods. We suggest going for the super SU which automatically disables forced encryption and dm-verity, but requires a “Format Data” in TWRP. So boot into TWRP and then select ‘format data’ in TWRP.

* reboot into recovery, then sideload supersu.zip you downloaded earlier. Go to advanced> adb sideload in TWRP and then from your computer run it.
adb sideload supersu.zip

Someone at XDA has skinned the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 5.1.1 launcher to look like one on Android 6 marshmallow launcher. For this, you must be on android 5.1.1 on a Samsung device so if you are on Galaxy S3 Neo, upgrade to something like Motion S3 neo ROM. Naturally, you will need a S3 neo custom recovery and root to get this hack done.

Installation instructions:
1. Download and extract this file
2. Put apk in system/priv-app/TouchWizHome_ZERO (or ZERO-MR1) and set rw-r-r permissions for the apk.
3. Finally put the two libs in system/priv-app/TouchWizHome_ZERO (or ZERO-MR1)/arm/lib and set rw-r-r permissions for the libs.
4. Reboot and wipe data of touchwiz Home from Settings

Samsung might have abandoned the Galaxy Note 2 N7100 users on Android 4.4.2 but spirits are still high at XDA whose developers have released Cyanogen Mod 13 for the N7100 that brings Android 6 Marshmallow to the Note 2. Fortunately, everything is working which is a great thing.

Here is what’s working: OpenGL (CPU rendering) , MALI blobs (GPU rendering) , HWComposer and MALI R3P2 drivers , Rotation , Camera , WiFi , Bluetooth , NFC (Android Beam) , Sensors (ALL!) , Vibration , Home Button wake , RIL , GPS , Signal Icon , Soft Keyboard on first boot , Mouse pointer , Pin lock , External media mounting.

Install the ROM (download link) using Note 2 custom recovery like TWRP or CWM and then install gapps. Gapps are not included in the ROM so it is suggested you install it yourself. You can grab the packages from here.

A new custom kernel called XClark is available for download for the Motorola Moto X Style. This kernel allows you to overclock Moto X Style or underclock Moto X Style by changing CPU clock speeds.

Installation instructions for installing this X Clark kernel for Motorola X Style

Boot into recovery mode and install the kernel. Download links are given below. Ensure you have Moto X Style TWRP pre installed as this is a major mod and requires custom recovery installed on your device.

Custom recovery TWRP is available for download for the Moto X Style Pure smartphone. The TWRP for Moto X Style is similar to the CWM a k a clock work mod but lets you interact with the device using touchscreen.

Moto X Style TWRP download

The TWRP for Moto X style is driven by XML programming and is themeable. To install it, you need to have universal ADB drivers installed. Then enable Developer Options by clicking build number in Settings –> About and enable USB debugging. Connect your phone to the computer and go to ADB folder and fire up command prompt there.

Download IMG file from bottom of this post and rename it to twrp.img and then type in this:

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot

Normally, wireless chargers are tad slow for charging my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 but the ChoeTech wireless fast charger T511-S is going to change all that. It promises to charge your device as fast as a wired quick charge 2.0 charger but it does it wirelessly which is nice.

Shown below in the following picture is my LG V10 as I took my Galaxy Note 5 to take this picture. When you place your smartphone on ChoeTech wireless fast charger T511-S, the LED on the charger will glow green to show that it is charging the device. This also shows that quick charging is being done. You can buy it for mere $24 on amazon.

It might glow blue if the phone is not doing fast charging. I love the build quality and its ergonomic design. I also like how thin and light it is. It still holds its place nicely as it has sticky pads that ensure it doesn’t slide around.
