Haier HaierPad W203 and W800 gets hands on treatment

At the mobile world congress  2015 evnet, Haier launched HaierPad W203 and W800 windows tablets. Both tablets were accompanied by hard cases packing hardware keyboard for faster data input. Display is IPS type in both and offer good color reproduction with decent viewing angles.

Haier W203 has full flat design with rounded corners and aluminum alloy black with satin finish and chrome accents that add a touch of sophistication. The W800, on the other hand has cheaper black polycarbonate construction. W800 has thickness of 8.6 mm and a weight of 388 g, while the HaierPad W203 measures 9.4 mm and weighs 410 grams.

Haier W800 specifications include Atom Z3735F bay trail quad core processor with 2 gigabytes of memory and 32GB of NAND flash storage. The two tablets also have a slot for micro SD storage, with a maximum capacity of 32 GB in the first case and 64 GB in the second.

W800 has 4000 mAh battery capacity which yields about 5 hours of runtime on a single charge. W203 has doubled sized battery, measuring 8000 mAh and massive 8 hours of usage.

Haier W800 and W203 release date

Haier W800 is already available in Europe at a cost of € 129 without keyboard and 149 euro if you buy it with keyboard. HaierPad W203 will be made available in April at a price of 249 euro. In both tablet, the price includes a year subscription of Office 365 suite.
