HP now offers some really amazing tablets with windows operating system on board. First one is of course the HP Stream 7 that retails for 100 dollars and second is the Stream 8 that goes for 150 dollars and up.
For those willing to shell out more should take a quick glance at the HP Pro 408 tablet that has 8 inch display with more RAM, improved camera over HP Stream 8. You also get digital stylus as additional input device with the Pro 408 tablet.
HP Pro Tablet 408 specifications
We have no pictures of it but we were able to find HP Pro 408 tablet specifications sheet on HP’s own website which tells us that it comes with an 8 inch, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS touchscreen display with 10-point multitouch panel, Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage, microSDXC card slot (up to 128GB of removable storage), 8MP rear camera with auto-focus + flash, 2MP fixed-focus front camera, 4800mAh battery, 802.11 a / b / g / n WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0, Dual stereo speakers, Micro HDMI output and WiDi wireless display support. As you can judge by its screen shot, it runs Windows 8.1 operating system.
Thanks to its leaked specification sheet, we also know that HP Pro Tablet 408 measures 8.4″ x 5.5″ x 0.35″ and weighs 13 ounces. The FCC’s listing suggests that tablet is made by Foxconn.
