Telefonica Ecuador starts 4G LTE service

Telefonica Ecuador is the second telephone network provider in Ecuador to start 4G LTE service. Right now the service is available only in the capital city of Quito. Frequency used is FDD-LTE 1900 (B2) MHz. Folks at Corporacion Nacional de Telecomunicaciones have done the hard work in deploying the LTE service in the Quito and will be expanding its coverage in the coming months.

All of these phones that are on sale currently in Ecuador will be able to make use of LTE broadband service:

Mediacom PhonePad Duo S510U and S510 are the two new phablet phones for Europe packing dual SIM functionality and Android operating system. Coolpad 5261 specifications, equipped with a Snapdragon 210

Coolpad, a Chinese phone manufacture has churned out Coolpad 5261. Packing TD-LTE / FDD-LTE / CDMA2000 / GSM modules, the Coolpad 5261 specifications include the just released Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor that runs at 1.1 GHz clock speed, 4.5 inch FWVGA display packing 480 x 854 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel rear camera and even LTE that supports maximum download speed of 150 Mbps.

OnePlus A2001 specifications leaked, thanks to Geekbench benchmark

Upcoming handset OnePlus A2001 specifications got leaked as its benchmark results surfaced on Geekbench website. Not all specs were revealed though as the site shows only some of the specs.

Specs include Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) processor, 3 gigabytes of memory and it runs Android 5.1 lollipop operating system. That is all we have got till now but those are enough to make anyone sure that it will be a high end android phone. Then Snapdragon 810 runs at 1.55 GHz clock speed and has eight cores.

Also like all other OnePlus products, we are expecting it to have a great price tag that will lure a lot of people and garner media attention. Its geekbench single core score is 1256 and its multi core score is 4093. You can find results here.

For those who do not know about Remix OS – it is an OS based on Android 4.4 kitkat that allows users to run Android applications in multiple windows. Unbrand Xperia Z ultra with this rooted firmware

Own a Sony Xperia Z ultra and want to unbrand it? Well consider using this XDA tool to obtain root as well. This firmware works on both unlocked and locked Xperia Z Ultra phones.

Flashing instructions

1. make sure to be on a rooted rom with Philz recovery
2. download the ROM on your External SD
3. reboot to Philz recovery
4. wipe (data, cache, dalvik/art cache) and format (cache, system, data)
5. flash rom

Here is its build.prop file which is said to improve Wi-Fi and 3G signal. You can replace it in Root/System with a file manager root setting RW-R–R—permissions.

I have the ROM installed on my Xperia Z Ultra and it is the most flawless ROM out there. I did remove loads of apps and firmware to suit my own usage and that was easy.
