ASUS unveiled Chrome OS based compact CPU unit that incorporates an Intel Celeron 2955U(basic model), or a Intel Core i3 or a Intel i7-4010U/4600U, up to 4GB RAM, and 16 GB SSD. It measures about 124 X 124 X 43 mm. ASUS will provide for some optional accessories like wireless keyboard and mouse. The device is priced at $ 179.
Samsung unveiled The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, along with the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 at CES 2014. These tablets are now available for pre-order online from Samsung.com, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Amazon, Tiger Direct, PC Richard and Sons, Fry’s, and Newegg. They will hit the US stores by 13th February. Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 will be available in stores in March, while the LTE version of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will be launched by Verizon later this quarter.

Toshiba is out with two Windows 8.1 based Z10t models with anti-glare displays. The devices targets professional users. Toshiba Protégé Z10t models have a 11.6-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. Both the models has an integrated digitizer, and provides a stylus. User detach display from the keyboard dock and use it as a tablet. They have several ports like USB 3.0 USB, Micro HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, an SD card slot. As for connectivity, both have Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. They weight 1.45 kg, and are 16.9-19.9 mm thin.

Sony officially unveiled VAIO Fit Flip 11A at CES 2014. It features a slim, lightweight chassis, aluminum keyboard, and a hinge placed in the middle of the lid that allows one to play around the display as per the requirement. Lid can be played around to turn in into tablet, or into a presentation booth.
MSI’s AP190 is an All-in-one brilliant performer which integrates a wide range of functionality in a single unit. It encapsulates Intel’s low energy consuming 1037U ULV Celeron dual-core embedded on Intel NM70 chipset, with 4 GB DDR3 RAM with an additional DDR3 SO-DIMM slot expandable to 4 GB. The processor produces not much heat as it employees passive heat dissipation, hence needs no fan for heat dissipation, system. Since there is no fan, it is a silent device.
Thinkpad Yoga 11e is the first hybrid tablet which employees Chrome OS. It targets customer segment of students. It’s a 11.6 inch IPS touchscreen display tablet with a resolution of 1366 X 786 pixels, 8 hours battery life, and an Intel processor.

HP recently unveiled the new HP Chromebox, a easy to set up mini-PC with an Intel Haswell processor, and Chrome OS with four color options i.e. black, white, marine blue and dark grey. It is a small, compact desktop PC designed for Chrome OS.
This is the review of the Zotac Zbox IQ01 mini PC that is equipped with the Intel Core i7 4770T processor. This octa thread processor has four cores, all of which are clocked at 2.5 GHz and has turbo boost of 3.7 GHz. Also present is a 8 MB cache – all of which runs at 45 watt TDP.

Early today, we posted the review of Flappy Bird where we mentioned that it is already available for iOS and Android but not for Windows Phone.
A popular third party developer, Coding For Fun has made an exact replica of Flappy game and is already available in the WP store. The game play and graphics are both same as the original game. Yes, the developer has been a little clear and he has made the night and tubes look different to avoid any problem. Also, the real one has much harder levels. You can download it from here.
That said, the official version is on the verge of hitting the windows phone marketplace. The developer is working on it and would be released soon. Until then, you can enjoy its clone that is mentioned above and many others that include Birdy Flap, Paddle Fish, FlappyFish, and Jolly Fish.
