SDHC patch for Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6 devices

Geniuses at XDA-devs have done it again! lepsyfou has come up with patch which would enable SDHC on SDHC-devices.

The price of SDHC cards have dropping faster than one even thought. Some manufactures and carriers didn’t come out with WM6.1 update which enabled SDHC support on their devices. I hope their device gets compatible with this ‘patch’ and they too can enjoy the high speed memory cards.

Fujitsu U2010 XP VGA driver

milklok of UMPCfever has come up with the VGA drivers to be used under Windows XP for the Fujitsu U2010. As we know that the Fujitsu U2010 originally came with Vista only. Users who do not like Vista on their UMPCs or netbooks often go to XP side as it is easy on the resources.

Please note the following does not work under XP so far on Fujitsu U2010:

  • Screen rotate does not work
  • BTN works
  • CF slot does not work
  • Volume button does not work

Thousands of Tmobile G1s being illegally sold in China

It is not a hidden fact that the Tmobile G1 is being sold like hot cakes in the United States. Why? The reason is that it has been a highly anticipated piece of technology popularly known as the “Google Phone” all over the web.

Now, for about $650, you get yourself a fully unlocked Tmobile G1 in China. I would like mention the statement the Peter Chou said few days back,

It will be more than we originally planned. I’m saying we will ship more than 600,000.

Well, looks like he was right. I think that the illegal imports won’t be contrained to China. More countries are like to follow the suit soon.

ASUS EEE 1002HA unveiled!

Another week, another EEE. Guys at ASUS have always kept us busy. Today, the ASUS has come up with another variant of it’s 1000 series. It is basically the same 1000H but in S101’s chassis and smaller battery.

Here are 1000HA specifications:

  • 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor
  • 160GB HDD
  • 2 cell 4400mAH battery
  • 1GB RAM
  • same chassis as S101

In other words, the new 1002HA = 1000H + S101’s pretty chassis
