Engineering samples of Intel Core i7 Haswell E chipsets have emerged online, and according to the sources, it will be a 22 nm chip. It will be successor to the X79 chipset, which is current top-of-the-line chip. Release date of Core i7 Haswell-E is Q3 2014.
Popular laptop maker, Clevo has leaked details of upcoming mobile Nvidia GeForce GPUs. This includes GTX 880M, 870M, 860M and 860M MXM modules. While concrete specifications are not yet available, we do know that these GPU units are based on Maxwell architecture. This ‘base’ is also being used in GeForce 800-series used in desktops.

Microsoft is willing to offer up to 1 billion dollars to Samsung for making more Windows Phones. This rumor comes from Eldar, who owns popular site, mobile-review.com. Here is his tweet.
Another “good” news from Microsoft – company negotiate with Samsung and offer 1 billion support if vendor will produce Windows Phone devices.
After Microsoft buys Nokia, it would want the biggest Android OEM, Samsung to put some more resources in WP ecosystem and churn out some more devices that run MS’ mobile OS.
While Samsung is already said to be working on a new WP phone, $1 billion could make it release a lot more devices in 2014.
Nokia now owns more than 90 percent of the WP market, and MS would definitely want more players to get serious about its fast growing OS. It would be interesting to see how MS-Sammy deal fares out.
Chinese manufacture, Haier is now selling a 10 inch windows 8 tablet with detachable keyboard. It is powered by Intel Atom Z3740D bay trail processor. Specs include 10.1 inch display, 1280×800 pixel resolution, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage and 2 megapixel front facing camera, HDMI, USB and 802.11n Wi-Fi.
HP has updated its business ultrabook laptop, Elitebook Folio 9470m and has swapped it with Eitebook 1040, which is mere 0.62 inches thick and weighs mere 3.3 pounds. Thanks to kind folks at XDA, the Samsung galaxy core users can have multi window functionality on their phones. All you have to do is get the multiwindow.apk file from here; put it on the root folder of your phone; reboot to cwm recovery; install my zip from SD card and install it on your phone.
To use multi window on the phone, there is need to have root access, as well as CWM recovery, and can be used on any deodexed Galaxy Core ROM.
