Digitalhomethoughts have got their hands on the recently released Dell Mini 10. In the video, Jason has given a hardware overview. I’m myself happy to see the great keyboard, which also has full right shift key. The Dell mini 10 is one of the few netbooks which comes with HDMI port. One more nice feature in mini 10 is the small AC adapter, which looks very similar to the one found in the ASUS EEE 700-series. The ones found in other netbooks (esp Aspire One 8.9-inch) are rather bulky.
Acer not much interested in Windows Mobile – going to launch its first Android handset in September
Last month at the MWC 2009, Acer displayed their upcoming handset. At that time, nothing was known about the OS that handset was using. Most of us thought that it is certainly going to be a Windows Mobile OS as they bought Eten last year, which was a Windows Mobile manufacture. Now, according to a confidential source, Acer has chosen Google Android as its OS. There are two main reason for it:

- Popular demand
Nothing else is known about the upcoming handset other than the OS it is using. Acer not using Windows mobile is not going to make the Windows Mobile fans much happy. Already, HTC, SAMSUNG, LG and Motorola have joined the Android league. Now, Acer is also a part of the league. Who is next? We guess, SONY ERICSSON

Acer to launch Aspire One Pro 531 soon
Acer is planning to product a business version of its Aspire one netbooks. A couple of days back, we mentioned about the 11-inch Aspire one. That one will be known by Aspire One 731. Acer is also going to produce a 10-inch version of the 731, which is will be known as the Aspire One Pro 531. Both of them will share similar specifications.

Intel to increase price of Atom N270 in China
From the past couple of months, a lot of (white-box) netbook manufactures have entered the netbook market. As a result of that, the supply of the N270 is able to meet the huge demand of the manufactures. Intel has decided to increase the price of the N270 Atom processor to the extent that the price of the N280 processor will be same as the N270 processor.
If the price of the N270 will price same as N280, why not just switch to N280?
