Apple iPhone Firmware 2.0.2 available

Today has been a great day for the Apple iPhone lovers. Apple has released new iTunes 2.1.1 and new firmware 2.0.2 for the Apple iPhone.

The new firmware promises to solve the bunch of 3G issues that the people have been facing. I hope that it has been solved via firmware.

Girl, wanna fly?

Looking by it’s looks, one would assume that it would make you fly. But, sadly that is not the case.

The $1000 wings from Cybertek Wings look very cool and would certiainly make you stand apart from the rest of the crowd. But, for $1000, I wish they could make me fly. Alas!

My Nokia E61i gathering dust

I bought my first ever Nokia few months back just to satisfy my internal desire to feel how the Symbian is. Well, the overall experience has not been that great. I’m certainly not thrilled.

Why has that feeling emerged?

  • Symbian feels like an unfinished OS
  • Multi-tasking experience was slow
  • It is not that powerful as compared to windows mobile. The web browser is great but the rest of the OS can get too complex just for simple tasks and it can take a lot of button presses just to do a particular task

So, will I be retiring it?

  • actually, NO
  • It is still great as a backup phone
  • It is Quad Band and can be used all around the world
  • Signal strength is quite strong
