Joe Belfiore who runs the team of windows phone at Microsoft has confirmed on Twitter that 3 column time option will be available on all windows phones running WP8.1, not just on only phones with display size of 4.5 and more as said by Joe in October last year.

3 column tile option will allow users to squeeze more data on to their home screens. Many windows phones already come with 3 tile column enabled. This includes Lumia 1320 and 1520 that Nokia released in Q4 2013.

This option will be very much appreciated by the low end Lumia 520 that compromises of more than 30 percent of Windows Phone market.

Asus T100 is one of the most popular tablets on Amazon as well as on other retailers. Right now it is being sold for just USD 374. The one being sold comes with quad core Atom Z3740 but now the company is going to upgrade that CPU to Z3775.

According to many reports brewing across the Internet, the Nokia Lumia 630 and 635 does not come with a built in proximity or ambient light sensor, but that is not true.

Nokia has itself confirmed that both Lumia windows phones come with proximity sensor as well as ambient light one. Proximity senses objects in front of screen while ambient one controls the brightness of the display. Here is the screenshot that shows that it has both.

Oppo Find 7a has gone up for pre order and the company has told us that it is going to retail for EUR 399. Its specifications includes a 5.5 -inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 801 processor operating at 2.3 GHz and backed by 2 GB of RAM.

The internal memory is 16 GB and can be expanded with a microSD card. On the back there is a 13 MP camera that can also shoot 50 megapixel photos. In the super-zoom mode, objects located far-off can be captured really well. The quality of the images is very impressive.

Former employees of the Chinese smartphone company, Oppo have teamed up in a company called OnePlus that intends to bring high-end technology and features at low prices. Their upcoming flagship “One” is based on a modified CyanogenMod running Android 4.4 KitKat OS. It offers a 5.5 inch large IPS display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The highlight is the processor: A Snapdragon 801 with 2.3 GHz clock speed which makes it similar to the new HTC One M8 2014 model and the Samsung Galaxy S5.
