Alcatel has introduced the OneTouch Idol Idol 2 and 2S two new mid-range smartphones at the MWC 2014 . Both are 5-inch displays, with relatively low prices. While the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2 is cheaper, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 2S is equipped with a LTE module.

The Chinese smartphone maker, Hisense has unveiled its latest large screen smartphone at MWC 2014. The new device is the Maxe X1 and it is more a phablet than a normal smartphone. The massive device has a screen that is 6.8-inches wide. The resolution of that big screen is 1920 x 1800.
Lenovo recently launched two new business-oriented notebooks. The new Lenovo IdeaPad M5400G M5400A has a silver cover made of polycarbonate. Large touchpad and comfortable keyboard (with numeric keypad), both characterized by soft lines of the IdeaPad series and austerity of ThinkPad (also missing the trackpoint).

Qualcomm at MWC 2014 presented the new Snapdragon 610 and 615 processors, the 64-bit SoC four-and the eight-core ARM-based Cortex A53. The Cortex A53 are low-power versions of the most powerful Cortex-A57, as the latter based on next-generation architecture ARM v8.

Huawei presented the Huawei MediaPad X1 7 inch and the Huawei MediaPad M1 8-inch tablet at MWC 2014. Both Android tablets are equipped with striking designs. While the MediaPad X1 playing against the high-end competition, the MediaPad M1 is made more for the smaller budget.
