A new firmware has emerged on xda developers that allows Motorola Moto R users to download Lollipop android 5.1.1 update on their devices. This ROM is known as Flex OS and it boats amazingly utilities like flex control, animation control and myriad other tweaking apps to help you get the most of your device. Make sure you have Moto E custom recovery pre installed as only then you can install a custom firmware.

To flash it, first download the ROM and place it in your internal / external SD card. Then boot into recovery and wipe system, cache, data. Make sure you make a backup to avoid hassle. Then flash Flex OS ROM Package and then gapps.

Huawei MediaPad M2 is the latest masterpiece from Chinese manufacturer and its launch was quite unexpected. It is successor to the MediaPad M1 and will be made available in the month of June of this year at a suggested retail price fixed at 279 euros. Before we reveal Huawei MediaPad M2 specifications, I would like to add that Huawei will also be offering a tablet with built in 4G LTE and this model will cost you 349 euro.

Huawei MediaPad M2 has 8 inch LTPS display with WYXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). On the communication front, you get LTE cat 4 radio providing download speeds of up to 150 Mbps, dual band wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC module. Its battery has capacity of 4800 mAh.

On the rear of Huawei MediaPad M2, you will find an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and 2MP front camera for taking selfies and doing video calls. It has thickness of about 7.8 millimeters and weighs 310 grams. Chassis is made of aluminum.

It runs Android 5 lollipop with EMUI 3.0 layer on top.

Huawei P8 Lite can be pre-ordered now at Saturn in Germany and in other parts of Europe. The official price has been dropped to 249 euro which was rather unexpected. Huawei P8 Lite specifications are given below.

Interestingly Huawei P8 Lite has two SIMs making it one of few dual SIM phones out there.  Huawei P8 Lite specifications include 5 inch display packing 1280 x 720 resolution, 2GB RAM, 1.2 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 620 octa core processor with 64 bit architecture and 16 gigabytes of internal storage expandable via microSD card to 128 GB. Hisense Sero 8 Pro is the newest tablet from European manufacture. Hisense Sero 8 Pro specifications include quad-core Rockchip RK3288, 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage. It is already on sale in Germany and Italy for 199 euro.

The tablet runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system and features Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b / g / n and has a weight of 335 grams and features 8 inch LCD display packing retina resolution which means you get 2048 × 1536 pixels onboard. A variety of applications come already installed including YouTube, Google Maps, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify and Photos.

Hisense Sero 8 Pro is an ideal tool for entertainment and business thanks to quad-core Rockchip RK3288 processor which supports multi threading as well. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM sotrage expandable up to 32GB.

The tablet is equipped with dual cameras, 2MP front and 5 megapixel rear camera. The internal battery with a capacity of 4500mAh and a charging time of no more than four hours. It offers 300 hours in standby mode and up to 10 hours with the simultaneous use. Hisense Sero 8 Pro is available in Italy and other parts of Europe at the price of 199 Euros.

A full fledge Deodexed ROM for Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is available for download. The ROM is build on the N915KKTU1BOC2 and is pre rooted. There is no Samsung Bloatware on this Note Edge ROM so you would not find any Samsung applications on it.

Install Deodexed Note Edge ROM

To install it, make a back up of current data. Make sure you on the latest stock firmware which is v5.0.1. Then root your note edge and install CWM recovery. Go into recovery (power button + volume up) and do a full wipe. Then format the system by going into “mounts and storage” > “format system”. Download and put the deodexed Note Edge ROM into the SD card. Install it by going into recovery. Reboot when it installed.

There is a bug in ROM that Internet does not work out of box. Fortunately the fix is easy. Take any phone with hotspot capability and turn its 4g / 3g off. Then turn on hotspot on it and connect your Note Edge to it. Turn it off and connect to your local Wi-Fi.

There is a new XDA ROM available for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo that allows you to enjoy AOSP with Touch Wiz. The ROM was is based on stock N7505XXUCNH1 and its kernel is from a french firmware. It comes with Aroma installer and is pre rooted as well. There is no Samsung crap on it.

So you will not find Shealth, svoice, s planner, scloud, stranslator, my magazine, Samsung apps, gallery, stock camera, stock mms app, stock browser, stock music app, evernote, flipboard and easy mode. The samsung keyboard is replaced with google keyboard and the developer has added Keep, google camera, google calendar, google launcher and google geniewidget which are actually useful for the end user.

It is knox free and the stock Calculator, Setup wizard, clock and sound recorder are replaced with AOSP ones.

Installation instructions.

1. Make sure you have your n7505 rooted on stock rom and with latest TWRP installed
2. Download and install the rom from here.
3. Swipe and follow the installer instructions
4. Click reboot and enjoy the rom
