Yixi Micro PC is the new mini machine aka mini PC but packs fanless architecture making no sound when in use. Yixi Micro PC specs include Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor clocked between 1.33 – 2.16GHz with 2 MB of cache, 3 watts TDP, 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC and a micro SDXC card reader capable of adding another 128GB of storage.
Measuring 9.9 cm wide and 8.7 cm deep and 1.9 cm thick, the Yixi Micro PC features Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, an audio format 3.5mm jack and a Micro USB OTG port. Yixi Micro PC price is 130 euros and is compatible to run windows, android and Ubuntu. Its Ethernet port is limited to 10/100 which is probably driven by a USB 2.0 chip.
The connections are distributed on all four sides and it may not look tidy once all the cables are plugged into it. Fortunately, since it is so small, you will be easily able to hide it under the desk. We wish there was a way to use it with a VESA mount but that is not possible.
