X-Doria has released Engage Folio and Dash Folio One for the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. The Engage Folio case has hard clear plastic back and faux leather front cover. There is a card slot on the back of the Engage Folio case for iPhone 6 Plus.

Dash Folio One retails for 30 dollars and is quite similar to the Engage Folio. It however comes with more features. The case makes use of front cover as kickstand and its magnetic clasp keeps the flap from flapping.

The company sells Engage Folio in three colors – black, white and red and its retail price is 30 dollars.

A working version of unreleased Apple iPhone 6 was leaked by our Chinese friends and it has already disappointed the tech community. We can already see what is new in this iPhone besides bigger display and chassis – Nothing.

Other than the iPhone 6 being able to pack two more rows of icons, it does nothing extra. We have been saying this for years now that Apple’s growth has stagnated and the interface is boring. It has not changed since the first iPhone.

It seems that other people are finally starting to think the same thing. However we are very sure that some people will be like OMG! one more row of icons.

Also the apps on the home page look so small on that display. This phone, if what is to be released, its an existing design blown up to compete with the size of the Android devices.

We are extremely disappointed. This is not market innovation this is market regurgitation / stagnation to which they are just trying to catch up with Android. What is going to set this phone apart from android which, now holds the market share? We are very sure that the Windows Phone will surpass Apple’s market share by end of 2015.

Apple is clearly dependent on their blind fans and third party developers who are doing the dirty work and keeping the iPhone brand alive. The Cupertino giant should change their slogan to this now.

The Bluetooth speaker category has reached its saturation but folks at iHome want to revive that category by their iBN6 waterpoof speakers. You can use these with your iPhone, iPad or iPod since all have built in Bluetooth radios.

The iHome iBN6 costs 100 dollars and was shown off at CES 2014. There are there things that make the iHome iBN6 Bluetooth speaker so special. First is the fact that it IPX7 certified. Second it has a edgy new body and third, all of this is being offered at a very affordable price tag.

It measures 6 x 4.5 x 2.7 inches and has two 1.25 inch front facing drivers. There is also a 2.5 inch circular bass driver on its back.

You get a 3.5mm cable and micro USB charger in the box. The entire chassis is made of rubber that forms a grid of volume. 

So how is the sound quality? It is excellent thanks to the three speaker array iHome has been able to squeeze in three speakers inside its small chassis.

You can use it for phone calls and there are dedicated buttons for answering and ending phone calls on the unit.

Apple is now more serious about its iPod Touch lineup. The company has launched a new 16GB iPod Touch that has built in iSight camera. The new 16GB Apple iPod Touch will now sell for 199 dollars.

The company has also decreased the prices of the 32GB and 64GB models so the prices are down to $249 and $299 respectively.

Other than that nothing has been changed hardware or software wise.

The 16GB iPod Touch used to be sold for $199 which is 30 dollars less than yester year’s model which lacked iSight camera.

This 90 dollar battery case for the Apple iPhone 5S is a combination of offGRID case and Atlas case. Battery capacity is 2000mAh so it is capable of charging the phone from 0-100 percent and still have some juice left.

Parallels have announced a a major update to its Parallels Access app. Previously available only for iPad, the new update brings support for Android and iPhone devices bringing the remote PC control to much wider audience.
