Lately there has been a complete abssense of any new Windows RT tablets, you know the Windows that runs on ARM processors. According to the benchmark results that showed up on GFXbench, a new Windows tablet with WQHD display packing Snapdragon 805 (SD805) ARM processor. Folks at nokiaviews are saying that it could be the successor to the Nokia branded Lumia 2520 or Surface 2 tablet. This tablet will pack a powerful Snapdragon processor and windows 10. This confirms that even the next generation of windows a k a Windows 10 will support ARM architecture.

Softbank releases Clide 8.9 Windows tablet

Softbank Commerce and Service Inc has released a 8.9 inch windows tablet. Called the Clide 8.9, it features 1920 x 1200 pixel 8.9 inch display with IPS technology and Intel Atom Z3735F 1.33 GHz processor.

Other specifications include 32GB of flash storage, windows 8.1 operating system and 2 gigabytes of memory.

Port selection includes micro USB 2.0 port, USB 2.0, microSD card reader, Mini HDMI output, IEEE 802.11b / g / n-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 and 2 megapixel back + front camera.

Softbank Clide 8.9 measures 234.4 × 155.7 × 9.4mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 495 grams. There is a silo for storing for the stylus too.

HP now offers some really amazing tablets with windows operating system on board. First one is of course the HP Stream 7 that retails for 100 dollars and second is the Stream 8 that goes for 150 dollars and up.

For those willing to shell out more should take a quick glance at the HP Pro 408 tablet that has 8 inch display with more RAM, improved camera over HP Stream 8. You also get digital stylus as additional input device with the Pro 408 tablet.

As you can judge by its screen shot, it runs Windows 8.1 operating system.

Thanks to its leaked specification sheet, we also know that HP Pro Tablet 408 measures 8.4″ x 5.5″ x 0.35″ and weighs 13 ounces. The FCC’s listing suggests that tablet is made by Foxconn.

Pocketbook released a massive ereader today at an event in Las Vegas, NV. Aimed at architects and AutoDesk CAD lovers, the Pocketbook CAD features a massive 13.3 inch display packing HD+ 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution.

Such pixel density ensures clear text and pictures on its E-ink Mobius display which is also being used in Sony’s digital paper. The dust and waterproof body allows you to use it even under the toughest conditions on the construction site. Powering everything is its 1.2 GHz dual core processor backed by 512 megabytes of memory.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 is yet to go up for sale online or mortar stores but our good friends at HD blog Italy have already put up a nice hands on review video of it. In the video we get see the phone from all angles and get introduced to the new themes feature that Samsung has introduced with the Galaxy A3 and A5 smartphones.

The A3 phone features couple of pre-loaded themes such as Samsung Basic, Natural and Craft.

Allview Mobile WI7 is a 7 inch Windows 8 tablet

The Allview Mobile WI7 is made by Romanian company and is now officially the cheapest windows 8.1 tablet with 7 inch display. It can be pre ordered directly from the manufacture for 70 euro excluding shipping cost which is 5.99 euro. Delivery of the first lot is set to begin in the coming week.

Of course at 70 euros, you should be ready to make sacrifices with the Allview Mobile WI7. Before we delve into its specifications, we would like to add that you get free Office 365 license for 1 year.

Of course you can increase its storage by using a micro SD card slot.
