Odys has launched a WinTab Gen 8 tablet in the European market for 129 euro. It is already up for sale in the German market and at that price tag, we expect it to be a huge hit.
As the title says the Odys WinTab Gen 8 runs Windows 8.1 operating system which looks great on its 8 inch display that packs 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The display quality is not that great as the company is using TN panel on it. However we are not sure if we would recommend the Odys WinTab Gen 8 over Acer Iconia Tab W4-821.
Odys WinTab Gen 8 specifications include Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor, 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 GB of internal flash storage. There is also a micro HDMI port on this tablet which is usually not present on the cheap windows tablets.
