Official firmware is now available for download for all variants of Motorola E first generation android phone thanks to folks at XDA developers. This will allow you to do away with any modifications you have done on your Motorola android phone.

This will also remove all sorts of custom recoveries on Moto E. It will also remove root. You should install official ROM before reselling it to someone else. This will ensure that nothing is left on the device.

Panasonic FZ-E1 and FZ-X1 are two new tablets for people that make widespread use of pen and paper. The Atex FZ-E1 runs Windows Embedded Handheld 8.1 operating system while FZ-X1 runs Android 4.2.2.

Panasonic FZ-E1 and FZ-X1 specifications include quad core Snapdragon processor backed by 2GB memory and 32GB flash storage. The screen supports multi touch gestures and screen works even in rain.

The Toughpad FZ-E1 ATEX and FZ-X1 ATEX are equipped with voice and 4G data capabilities. Ports selection includes Micro USB port, Wi-Fi 801.11 a / ​​b / g / n / ac, NFC (Near Field Communications), stand-alone GPS and Bluetooth v4.0 (Class 1). The GPS functionality is highly precise and accurate. The devices are equipped with rear 8MP camera with auto-focus and LED flash and 1.3MP front camera for photo and video quality.

Thanks to 6200mAh battery, you will be able to get 14 hours of runtime. Quick charging function is also available and you can charge about 50 percent in about an hour. It provides about 1000 hours of standby and 23 hours of talk time. Both of the tablets are IP54 certified and can operate at temperatures ranging from –20 to +40 centigrade.  They are also covered by a 3 year warranty and customer service.

Panasonic Toughpad FZ-X1 ATEX (Android version) and FZ-E1 ATEX (Windows Embedded Handheld 8.1) will be available from the end of September 2015.

Onda V919 Air CH is the new windows tablet to hit the market packing some really good specifications for power user. Onda V919 Air CH features the new 9.7 inch retina display with cherry trail SoC and latest windows 10 operating system.

Onda V919 Air CH specifications include Intel atom X5 Z8500 processor backed by 4GB RAM, 12EUs Gen 8 GPU @ 600 MHz clock speed, 64GB of eMMC flash storage and a 9.7 inch display packing 2048 x 1536 retina resolution.

Onda V919 Air CH weighs about 450 grams and looks very sleek in pictures. The processor in this windows tablet is made using 14nm manufacturing process and based on the new and efficient cherry trail platform.

There is no word on its price tag or release date.

Samsung Electronics is set to reveal Galaxy View tablet. It was recently spotted by its model number, SM-T677A on Bluetooth’s website on September 15, 2015. This also revealed some of the Samsung Galaxy View specifications.

Samsung Galaxy View specifications include Samsung Exynos 7580 64-bit processor that runs at 1.6 GHz clock speed, 18.4 inch full HD display packing 1920 x 1080 pixels. The camera packs 2.1 mega pixel CMOS sensor and 8MP rear camera. Bluetooth website suggests that it has BT module v4.1

Galaxy View comes with 2GB RAM and 32 gigabytes of flash storage. Capacity of the battery is 5700 mAh and it will likely have FDD LTE / W-CDMA radio. It will be making its way to AT&T network in USA.

Sony Xperia Z3+ is an amazing phone but you can make it even better by flashing custom firmware. To do that you will require a custom recovery for Xperia Z3+ such as TWRP. After flashing TWRP on Xperia Z3+, you will be able to do all sorts of hacks onto it including the ability to flash custom ROMs. Here is how you  download and install TWRP on Xperia Z3+.

This recovery image is for the E6553 single SIM Z3+. Do not use it on another model.
This recovery image requires an unlocked bootloader. You will lose some functionality on your phone if you unlock your bootloader
Do your research and make sure you’re using the latest version of the relevant tools if you do decide to unlock.
This recovery image CANNOT be flashed to your phone. Sony has not yet released the open devices bootloader for the Z3+
Until Sony releases an open bootloader you need to use this image via fastboot boot mode.
Unzip the recovery.zip file to extract the recovery.img file

A custom kernel has been released by XDA developers that features A53 Overclocking; Sweep2sleep; init.d support, USB Quick charge, Disable SELinux, RIC, Add SIO, FIOPS, Headphone quality improvement and other misc optimizations.

USB fast charge depends on your computer. In our test conditions, it increased the current for 500ma to 700ma. It shall be noted that the processor clock while overclocking does not stick.

So lets say, you set it to 1708 and it resets back to default, do not fret as it is completely normal. The overclocking is performed by the Qualcomm core and one does not need to set it manually.

Sony Xperia android handsets are well known for having small and high resolution icons. An XDA developer user has just released an icon set that is inspired from the new  Sony Xperia Z5 android phone. It will not only give your phone material look but also native Sony user interface feel. This android hack also themes some core applications like calculator.

To install the Sony Xperia Z5 icon set, you will need Root access; Recovery ( Or you can install them manually ) and Super User mode ( Not important but recommended ).

If you are a Android lollipop user, flash the file using recovery and clear your cache. And if you are a kitkat user, extract the file using root explorer and install them manually. Also, don’t forget to set the permissions for ” RW-R–R– “.
