Nokia has finally unveiled the Nokia X, it’s first entry-level smartphones based on Android AOSP that will cater the needs of emerging markets with its dual-SIM compatibility. Nokia launched three another budget device at their press event, known as the Nokia X+ and XL, priced between the Asha and Lumia range of smartphones. The most catchy thing on the handsets is the operating system, that is, Android. It runs a forked version of Android.
Sony at the Mobile World Congress 2014 unveiled its new 10-inch Android tablet named SONY XPERIA Z2, which it claims to be the “thinnest and lightest in the world” with thickness of only 6.4 mm and weight of 426 grams (WiFi-only version) or 439 grams ( G/4G WiFi +3).
HP at the MWC 2014 presented the HP ElitePad 1000 G2, the first 64-bit Intel Bay Trail Tablet which has 4GB of RAM, a digitizer, in addition to support to 3G/4G-LTE network. It is primarily designed for business customers for whom there are several accessories, which offers additional security features.
The HP ProPad 600 has a 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels), Gorilla Glass type 3 display, quad-core Intel Atom Z3795 Bay Trail processor and Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. It will be available in the U.S. market by April and will target the medium-high market.
HP Pavilion x360 notebook is a hybrid touch notebook with 11.6-inch display tilting up to 360 degrees. The HP Pavilion x360 looks very sophisticated and makes a good impression.
Lenovo has updated its range of Android tablet with the new and more powerful Lenovo Yoga 10 + HD Tablet. This model will be the successor of Yoga Tablet 10 launched in 2013, for which it will have a technical improvement in hardware and software.
Intel is apparently all set for the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona with new versions of their own Bay Trail processors for 64-bit support. The existing Bay Trail Intel tablets works with 32 bits Windows 8.1 operating system. What the average user is unlikely to interfere, is quite a problem for businesses. If you want to have a 64-bit operating system, you have access to much more powerful tablets.

Originally developed for smartphones, Android has subsequently been extended to the tablet. So far the platform of choice is still the same ARM, except that Intel has been working for a few years with Google to optimize the operating system of the green robot for Intel Atom processor.
Much anticipated 8 inch Android Tablet, based on the Intel Bay Trail Z3740 quad-core processor had been confirmed by the AnTuTu benchmark. It will embrace name ‘Asus M8x’. The presentation will be held with great certainty at CES 2014 in a few days.
